Not the worst local music store I've been to. Stock is always rotating and very eclectic. Setups for any kind of non standard or extended range instruments here should be skipped; you're better off doing it yourself. Owner was not entirely forthcoming with me about a trade a while ago, he reneged on a deal we had already made mid transaction. Stopped in to buy a few sets of guitar strings. The clerk couldn't be bothered to get off the phone chatting with a friend long enough to ask if I needed assistance. After wandering around the store for a few minutes I went home and ordered them on Amazon. Won't be back. read more

Fun place, lots of interesting instruments to look over, only been there once - people seemed nice. I was looking for a Mesa Boogie amp, and found one elsewhere. They had quite a selection of vintage amps though, good selection of acoustic guitars - kinda cool. I'll definitely go back. read more

One of the best music stores around. Almost all used gear, with primary focus on guitar. I've purchased more instruments from Jeff than any other store over the last 10 years. He stocks a mix of price ranges. It's one of the few places you can buy a vintage instrument with confidence. Jeff has fair trade in and consignment practices. If you are trading in, he will figure out what he will charge for the instrument and give you a percentage. Very honest and above board. It's a small store, so if you are planning on a visit I would try and shoot for off hours. It can get crowded quick. read more

What a great shop... you never know what your going to see hanging on the wall, you may walk in and see a 1960 Les Paul or a 60's Fender Stratocaster.... A sweet Black Face Fender Super Reverb... you never know what you'll find.....Jeff the owner always treats you right and will negotiate price if he has room to.... repairs are done quickly by great repairmen.....
