Telling my wife those little bits about it made her eyes light up with excitement! We showed up and thankfully the major rush already passed and snagged a parking spot. Be mindful it is a small place with minimal parking. We walked inside and looked all around, my wife jumped to the books to browse (pictures of those can be seen on the Antidote Books listing). She did have lots of time to browse, because they only had one barista taking orders then also making them. This would be the only negative I would have to say of this place, I felt bad that it seemed the worker had too much to do. It resulted in quite a wait and I could see them losing some business during rushes from this. I know the space is small but having someone take orders and one making drinks could help. Despite this I still feel they deserve five stars! I got their Golden Sun Milk Iced Latte and my wife got their Iced Matcha Latte. Both were very tasty, expertly made for sure. Also we were lucky enough to get the very last chai donut, and it had a rose frosting. It tasted like gingerbread because the chai spices, wish we could have had more than one. A spot we would definitely return to and try more drinks and bites! No books that we wanted to buy but glad to have found a combo coffee shop/book store. Stop here and give it a try!

The books here are used but they're in a nice clean space and mostly in very good to excellent/basically new condition, so it is a great place to buy giftable books. It isn't the largest used bookstore in town but the owner clearly stocks with an eye for nice or interesting books--it feels bigger because the book selection is higher quality than usual and there is a lot to browse. The owner was very nice and chatted with us about other bookstores in the Pioneer Valley. I will definitely return!

However, I have a son who LOVES being read to, so I've been trying to make a point of buying him books, particularly from independent bookstores, since they're becoming scarcer and scarer every year. We stopped by Everyone's Books and it's what you would expect out of an independent bookstore. It felt a tad cluttered, yet very welcoming and cozy at the same time, if that even makes sense! The books seemed very diverse, inclusive, and topical - considering current events. I almost picked out a book or two for myself, but then I was like, "hahaha, don't even kid yourself!" There were some "sale" books out on tables in the middle of the store, but as you can expect, you are paying list price for most of these books - which we should be happy to do if we want to hang onto the very few bookstores we have left! After perusing the children's book section for a little bit, I picked out two social justice/awareness books for my kiddo. The register clerk lady was pleasant and quick and we were well on our way. However, like 5 minutes later, I returned back into the store after unsuccessfully hunting down a public restroom, and the sweet register lady said she forgot to give me the store's free bookmark, so it was serendipitous that I showed back up.

They have a section of used books for a lower price along with a cafe. They even sell records. There's a full section of greeting cards, stationary, planners, notebooks etc. Plus a small section with Vermont touristy/souvenirs. What's not to love?! They also have a cafe. I did not get a chance to visit it since I was happily overwhelmed by all the books. The third floor has the children's section which has colorful decorations, as well as cards, trinkets, journals, and vinyls for sale. Northshire has friendly employees who were very helpful. I am pleased to report they have a large used book section on the second floor. I will definitely be visiting this charming place more often!

Vintage vinyls in large numbers, vintage clothing, and plenty of other oddities to excite you or even make you wonder. There is a main building where you'll find some books, most of the vinyls and lots of other items. Out back, which by the way does have a couple parking spots also has the yurt which is where you will find the majority of the books. It's a very impressive collection and has a good variety of genres and while a lot are vintage I did stumble upon some more commonly know titles such as Harry Potter and a Hunger Games book. If you only explore the main building and skip the yurt you certainly miss out! The owner was extremely friendly and you could tell this is a passion of his to share his collection for others to find and collect! Also for the most part I really thought prices were reasonable, with many of the books in the yurt looking like they were $3-$4 roughly.
