Update 5/2026: For the last 3+ years I've been coming here,…read moreI have no negative complaints. Laser hair removal is top recommendation. Very friendly staff & the place is so clean... they have deal/packages on all kinds of options for you to help make you feel good about yourself. At the end Beauty comes from within you, you just need a little nudge to see it. That's what makes them great. Great services... I went for a laser hair removal. I used to shave daily... now I literally shave once a month when it's time to do laser. Staff are the friendliest & very professional. I now add services like Legacy to firm my butt and thighs & few other services for my face too. They don't add services that I don't t need... I even tried to. I've seen so many improvements and increase in self esteem... did I mention that they are bilingual. Prices are very reasonable too. My recommendation is stop by check them out, ask them the questions you need in person... if you call they don't know what they are working with so best answers are always in person. Prices are great compared to other places I checked out and they have some form package deals.

I went in for my Botox and filler appointment, and everything was explained to me in great detail. I felt comfortable and safe in nurse Jennifer's hands. This is one of the main perks as to why I chose Milan b/c I can be traveling and I know I won't miss a session b/c you can go to ANY Milan location. The Doral location is fairly new and it is as clean and welcoming as the one in AZ. Staff is welcoming and friendly (always a plus). The nurse practitioner asked all the right questions and was so nice and made sure I was comfortable. If you're looking into laser hair removal, I highly recommend Milan! Thanks for having me today!

As soon as you walk in those doors you feel like you just entered a spa. I would also like to add it is very well situated in a great neighborhood. Making an appt is so easy. I tend to have an extremely hectic schedule with no routine and sometimes I call her the day before and get a spot. Pricing is great and I have seen great results with what she's done for me. Let's just say no more razor bumps for me and deciding to go to beach no longer entails me thinking whether or not shaving is worth the effort. (Best feeling in the world) I strongly recommend Alcira!

I bought a living social deal for a small laser area because I was sick and tired of plucking,…read morepulling, waxing, shaving and threading those hideous hairs on my face. Excited that I was finally getting rid of the unwanted hair I booked my appt immediately. I was able to get the appt within the same week and was able to book 5-7 weeks in advance at every vist. The place is small and beautifully decorated. It has a spa like feel to it with soft colors, music and smells nice. The owner,Alcira, usually greeted me at the door and I went straight to the table for my service, if I had to wait it was never anymore than 10 minutes. Alcira is not very chatty and has a serious demeanor but I prefer it that way, I'm looking for permanent hair removal not a best friend! I liked her because she's to the point and knows her stuff. I never felt uncomfortable, burnt or bruised and the results shows her skills. (I would know because since than I bought another livingsocial deal and I'm currently feeling all the above). The light sheer dual machine itself is very comfortable compared to other machines I have experienced. Within each session I never felt the intensity of the laser, therefore I barely felt any pain or discomfort. I definitely would go back & pay for regular services, her prices are pretty decent compared to other places plus she gives deals on services. Since than I have finished all my sessions and Alcira even provided me with an additional 7th session just to make sure all the hairs were caught (my deal covered 6). Without hesitation I'd recommend her to anyone who is having laser hair removal for the first time since she made my experience wonderful. My favorite part of all was going to Chick fil A that's nearby afterwards :p

UPDATE: Thamara…read morecalled me on November 21st about the review I left. The call made no sense because she offered zero resolution. She opened by asking why I wrote the review... even though the entire reason is spelled out clearly in it. Then she denied ever telling me the package she sold me was unlimited. I asked if their calls were recorded; she said yes. So I told her to go listen to the call where she sold me the package -- January 8th, 2025 between 5-6 PM. She said she and her manager would review it and call me back. They never did. No apology. No explanation. No solution. They also refused to share the recording. I asked if I'd be able to hear it once they found it. She said no. At this point it's pretty clear: do not get tattoo removal here. They mislead people, they dodge accountability, and the machines look like they belong in a museum. Please learn from my experience and avoid getting scammed.

However, she has seemingly vanished and I cannot reach anyone to schedule an appointment despite multiple phone calls, voicemails, and texts. I paid $1200 for 6 treatments of my underarms and bikini area, and started to have trouble scheduling appointments after my second visit. Now I have been unable to reach her for several months. It's unclear whether the business is still operating, as I never saw anyone other than Julia in the office, but I am fairly sure I will never be getting the remaining 2 treatments that I paid for.

Imagine my shop when my never aging wife tells me that not only do THEY use Botox but she has been doing it for years and also get juvederm for lip injections. After fighting the shock and making a mental note to start checking the bank account on a regular basis, I was more curious then ever. Next thing you know, we're at a salon in downtown and were speaking to a doctor. I'm the type of husband that once the wife says to do it, I do it. So I signed some forms and got a couple needle pricks. The doc that did assured me that I would still look natural and not resemble the housewives of anything. So, couple days pass and I don't see any changes. Patience is not my virtue and I'm sure many can relate to the frustration of not having what you paid for, but to keep the Mrs. Happy, I keep my mouth shut and decided to just let it go. The next day, it kicked in and I couldn't move my forehead or make those lines around my eyes. It has now been almost 5 months since I had it done and I can still see the effect and I'm going to continue doing it. Heck, I might even try some laser hair removal one of these days. Even though I am happy with the outcome of the Botox, my review is to applaud Avalon Medical Spa on their customer service. About a week after the appointment, Julia called to follow up and see if I had any questions or concerns. And just yesterday I received another call. She said she knew I lived out of town and couldn't come in again, but offered to take some time to find a good doctor in my area and send him my treatment records to make sure i received the same results and thank me again for coming in. Anyway, owning my own company, I know that little things like that go a long way so I wanted to share my experience with the rest of Yelp.
