I've never written a Yelp review nor had any desire to, but I have to warn people about this place!…read more I'm in my 20s and routinely see the dentist, but after moving, I looked for a new dentist and I wish I had seen this review. My tooth isn't the same nearly two years after a routine filling by Dr. Rena Mollner. She talked throughout the entire procedure, even pausing what she was doing to continue her conversation. As a result I've had nerve pain in my tooth and I'm unable to eat normally with it. Dr. Nate Mollner attempted to pacify me in a follow up visit by telling me this is normal when a filling happens and it happened to him when his Dad did his filling as a kid, since a filling is only a stepping stone before you get more procedures! If this line of reasoning sounds like something you want from your dentist, this is your spot, sounds like it runs in the family. God knows what they're paying to get positive reviews, but I'm sure it's covered by the $300 plastic retainer they sell you. Don't go here!

They should aspire to do better. Maybe they need a training on professional behavior when working with customers. Not much more than a factory with shoddy work. Wouldn't return or recommend. Surely dr Brett makes enough money from this dental mill so he won't really care about 1 bad review.

Switching my dentists - I have been going to this office for 3+ years, and though I've always had a…read moregenerally pleasant experience here overall, I'm over it. I will say, the office staff is usually pleasant and easy to talk to, but vary from unhelpful or uncommunicative. I honestly get the impression that between the office staff and hygienists, they have pretty high staff turnover at this office... which usually tells you something. I have never once seen the same hygienist at this office - it's always some different who will often give conflicting advice from the last person I saw, and I don't like not being able to form consistent relationships with someone who takes care of my teeth. The dentist is a pleasant guy, but always seems too busy for me. I have healthy teeth and gums, and at one visit, he popped his head in and said to the hygienist "I know she's due for her exam today, but just come grab me if you see anything concerning, otherwise she's good to go." Sir, I expect a dentist to look in my mouth and do an annual exam EVERY YEAR. I expect you're still gonna bill for that exam, too right? I spoke up and said something and made him do the exam, but that just really rubbed me the wrong way. Secondly, the scheduling is atrocious. You can NEVER schedule your next cleaning exam at your current exam. They call or text you about a month before you're due for your next 6 month exam, and half the time, they still can't schedule you until 2-3 months PAST that time, so I'm really getting dental cleanings every 8-9 months instead of the 6 months that is recommended. It's extremely frustrating. That being said, my husband also goes here, and he has more complicated dental health, and they have always made time for him, and worked well with him and his issues. So that's great. But it just seems like they have more patients than they can handle, and/or only seem to prioritize the more complicated (money-making) patients over the standard oral health situations. I've tried to stick with them for the last 3 years, but I'm just absolutely over it, and want to be seen at a dentist where I can form a relationship with a hygienist and the dentist, and not seem like a nuisance for just needing a cleaning.

Yes, I was in a bit of pain and it couldn't wait much longer. I was supposed to get a filling back in early April, which was canceled for obvious reasons. Pearl was going to contact me when they were able to reschedule. I waited until Gov Polis announced that non-emergency procedures could resume and contacted Pearl's offices. It couldn't wait. All of the necessary safety precautions were followed: Spaced out appointments so really no contact with anyone but the staff. I had to fill out a COVID survey before even going into the building. They took my temperature and made sure I wasn't feeling ill as soon as I got into the office. Everyone was wearing masks/face shields, gloves and protective gear over their scrubs. Was getting the filling fun? NO. Does my mouth feel better? Yes. Was it safe? Absolutely. Do not be afraid to visit the dentist over COVID, at least not with Pearl Dentistry.

I told her I had a dental surgery a couple weeks later so I need the cavity filled so that I can eat on that side of my mouth. I paid for the visit & the x-ray just for her to tell me that I do not have a cavity there. (Which I do.) She told me that I shouldn't worry about it until my surgery was done & that a cavity isn't what's causing the pain. I called my previous dentist & they sent over an x-ray showing that there IS a cavity there & that cavities definitely do cause that much pain.) So because of her, I won't be able to eat or even drink room temperature water BC she couldn't identify a cavity that other dentists can see right away. She also hurt me during the checkup with the metal tooth probe by hitting it against my gums 3 separate times. It's confusing that she hurt me during a checkup and couldn't see a cavity that my other Dentist could see very easily. So I basically paid for her to hurt me several times during a simple check up and she sent me away when she could have simply filled my cavity. I will not be coming here ever again, and I can't believe this woman actually deals with teeth.
