Cornett Construction analyzed the mess the unlicensed workers had caused and planned a resolution for a fair price. Cornett Construction performed professionally and backed the work. The results were so good that I have continued to hire Cornett Construction to perform a variety of property improvements over the past couple of years, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, concrete, irrigation, HVAC and demolition. Cornett Construction takes care to ensure the work is done legally, with required permits and following building codes. Cornett Construction has also been proactive in noticing small problems that could become expensive future problems.

Because of the heat and the manner in which the heat would impact the application he recommended coming back a day later and much earlier in the morning to begin staining and sealing the driveway. We had previously agreed on the color we were looking for and throughout the process he engaged with us to make sure we were happy with the color and process. The driveway now looks as if we had recently had fresh concrete poured!!! We are extremely satisfied and would highly recommend him to anyone needing this type of work to done. Never asked me if I wanted gloss. I now have this ugly driveway and I have to live with it. I do not want to put gloss on the entire drive. I have sealed the rest myself with natural. About two weeks ago, my 73-year-old mother and I suddenly got a warning light for extremely low tire pressure on all four tires, right before having to drive onto the freeway for an important appointment. Fortunately, there was a 76 gas station right in front of us, and we desperately pulled in. I know next to nothing about cars, and it was really hard to get help from anyone because it was a busy morning. However, I saw Matt buying a few things from inside the gas station and walking out; he just exuded genuinely good energy, and I took a chance to ask him for help. Am I glad I did! He did not hesitate a moment with a genuine smile before he rushed over to my car and took so much time helping me pump air into all four tires, making sure they were all good, and explaining the whole process to me so patiently. Even when I misunderstood something about the air seeping out of one of the tires because of the cap, he didn't get irritated--only continued to comfort me and help until the end. I have no way of thanking him properly, so I thought it was the least I could do to leave a Yelp review for his business. When I have anything that needs a contractor, Higher Level Contractors will be the company to call; I will also continue to tell all my friends and acquaintances about this encounter. There are literally hundreds of companies to choose from, but when you can respect and trust the human being behind a business transaction, chances are great that the job will be excellent, too.
