Staff works 11-12 hour days in a CLINIC setting and the patients still have a 2+ hour wait!!!!!! The "Doctors" professionalism needs significant improvements. Obvious patient load issues and doctors not being able to manage a medical establishment. read more

I have had two different interactions with the Beckley Office and in particularly with Dr. Mitias. The first was with my Mother as a patient with a detached retina and most recent with myself as the patient having a vitreous hemorrhage. I have nothing but praise for Dr. Mitias and the entire staff. They have always been extremely professional but very friendly and caring. I hope that I will never need their services again but if I ever do I have the utmost confidence and can honestly recommend Retina Consultants. read more

This place "repaired" a detached retina for my wife years ago. The detached retina was noticed during a routine eye exam and they referred her to Retina Consultants. She could see fine with her glasses out of this eye until they operated and "fixed" the detachment. Afterwards she could see nothing. About three years ago she developed ARMD in her good left eye so she was again referred to Retina Consultants. She received four injections to stop the bleeding but during the last visit the doctor asked my wife, "how would you feel if your left eye got like your right eye?". Duh!!!! How would you like to be blind is not a question any doctor should every ask. They ruined her right eye with a botched operation so we would not take another chance and changed to Duke University and they stopped the bleeding in her eye. read more

The Beckley VA Hospital began sending me to R.C. maybe 3 years ago. Dr Hunt is my doctor. In my 73 years, I have never had a better doctor to treat me.
