When I called to make the appointment, the woman at the front desk said I would first need to speak with a "triage" before she could make an appointment. She said the traige would call me back soon to further discuss my bleed & possibly make an appointment? Well, this day has passed, and I've heard nothing from the triage? Unfortunately, I've had a few quite negative exchanges in the past with the triages, when calling to schedule an appointment if I've had an eye bleed. On one occasion, the triage curtly stated, "didn't I know the bleed will clear in a few weeks"! Which is often incorrect because I've had bleeds that have not cleared for 21/2 months! What's more, you just don't speak to a long time patient like that, particularly given the recurrence of my retinal bleeds. The triages need proper training in dealing with patients thoughtfully & empathetically. I certainly hope this issue will be addressed for the benefit of all patients current & future at the Retina Center Northwest in Silverdale?

He did a thorough exam and immediately referred me to a retinal surgeon for evaluation. He has since closely and carefully monitored my eye health. Having moved to the Olympic Peninsula from a major metropolitan area, I have experience with the care of ophthalmologists at a large university hospital. They may have been top in their field but I have received no better care than I have by Dr. Reis. I trust him implicitly. One note for those seeking an appointment with Dr. Reis, I was informed this practice has been purchased by a new team of ophthalmologists and Dr. Reis is no longer working there. I hope to follow him to his next location.

And quite a few check ups and follow ups at the Seattle location. I called trying to see if I could set up with my new insurance at the Seattle location being I moved. I apparently owed $137 bill from the other location that I wasn't aware of so they sent me to collections and collections wants me to pay like $770 so I called to try and handle it personally with the two locations being I'm not even sure which one it was and constantly just talked down to talked rudely to put on hold three separate times having people pick up going have you been helped For me to be like I'm waiting on hold for somebody I'm not sure who only to be transferred to the Everett location that I was just physically at I don't know why everybody is so damn rude nowadays I literally went in with a smile on my face saying please thank you is it possible to leave a note for Dr. Warden or Ong Chin and they said yes but then once they found out, I owed the 137. They said we're not able to help you at all and I said I'm willing to pay the 137 no problem why are you guys so willing to just say go away I've had 13 eye surgeries by you guys do I not get some kind of respect for having my insurance cover all of those? It was over $2 million worth of insurance payments to cover all that as well as my license got taken away and Dr Scott Warden wasn't willing to sign the paperwork to let me get my monolithic license Even though I could pass all the tests he said now about five times so I'm very upset with retina consultants and I've been seeing them since like 2010 or something like that for diabetic treatments and again I've had 13 eye surgeries two retinal fusions on one eye scar tissue removal The whole nine and to be treated like this over the phone over $137 that I wasn't even aware wasn't paid is absolutely crazy. I've lost all respect for this business and it sucks because I really liked Dr. Ong Chin and warden was OK even though every single one of his appointments is a NASCAR appointment. You're lucky if you get 5 to 7 minutes to talk to him And he's in and out of three different appointments at once like how fast do they need to be how quick does the turnover need to be? I'm trying to get the information and records. I need to sue the company that caused my 70% blindness it's a five to $10 million lawsuit And they're not even willing to overlook or work with me to pay this $137 bill so I could talk to any of the doctors via a message even like what kind of world do we live in when you have to pay just to ask a two second question the the doctor who did 13 eye surgeries on you? Who are they the mafia like they were happy to try and schedule an appointment until they found out I owed 137 and I'm like well I'll pay that I'd still like to leave a message and again oh we can't do anything until that's paid and it's like dude I'm not paying 770 to armada or whatever the hell collections it is just to pay off 137 I owe you guys man what a joke I didn't even get a notice in the mail Probably have 4.5 stars cause 90% of their clients are elderly and just getting check ups I have 12 MAJOR surgeries and one simple one each one being 150-200k so I feel pretty let down by these guys at this point

The in-laws were a tad nervous as they had been patients of beloved Dr. Reis (who has since moved to Lincoln Street Eye Care in PA). But rather than drag them to PA we stayed with North Coast and all was well!
