I had a vision of what I wanted done as a tribute to my sons and from my initial inquiry through the finishing touches they helped me bring it to life. Communication was spectacular every step of the way - I shared an overview of what I was looking for through those first texts which paved the way for a terrific consultation where Jesse took the time to go over everything, let me know what he needed from me, and provided some great resources for picking out the right font, even providing helpful pointers for what to look for in different fonts so that it would continue to look great for years to come. On arrival day of Jesse already had a mockup ready to go and was more than accommodating with some minor changes I wanted done. I can't say the process was painless for obvious reasons but it was as smooth as one could ever hope for. The work was clean, the price was extremely fair, and I left with a piece I'm super happy with that has already received a bunch of compliments even though it's still in the healing phase. South Shore has my highest recommendation and has definitely won a repeat customer with me. Can't wait to do it again.

She helped my find my old earrings and she actually told me about the store card and I just signed up! Aside from that I am very indecisive and I wanted to buy new earrings or do something new. SHE sat with me for 45 min helping me and going through so many earrings to help me decide. I swear Brittney has the patience of a saint. I am so grateful that she was so patient and so sweet. We talked the whole time and she was actually interested in keeping up a conversation with me and wasn't to try rush me or shoo me away. She is AMAZING at what she does and she got me to buy some stuff so from a sales POV go her ;) I decided to get 2 new piercings and a bunch of new earrings starters and ones when my holes heal. She helped me with it all and my new piercings look absolutely amazing. I am extremely grateful to have crossed paths with such an awesome person and it's nice to meet down to earth people who actually like their job. She was absolutely wonderful. Upon arrival, my sister and I were impressed by how clean it was. The interior colors weren't dark but vibrant. The artwork on the wall wasn't intimidating, and the workers were present but definitely about their business. As we spoke to the front desk manager, she provided us with details about pricing, scheduling, and leaving a deposit. On the day of our appointment, we spoke with Tiffany about the design and she presented ideas of how to improve it. She was professional, courteous, and flexible. This being my first tattoo, she made me feel comfortable by describing what to expect, which helped to calm my nerves- her pink bedazzled tattoo gun helped as well. One thing I appreciated was the extent they took to sanitize the room after each person was done. All in all, Tiffany did an amazing job! She is a passionate artist who takes pride in her work. I would be more than happy to recommend her services and personally use her for any future tattoo needs.

vaughn needs to chill out and do some yoga…read more.. i had two tattoos and a piercing done here; eli, kate and ali... they are all absolutely LOVELY and i would have given this studio 5 stars if it hadn't been for today's completely terrible and disappointing experience. i had a 1pm apt with eli, we had been planning this artwork out for over a month and i know my design was tricky and complicated. eli did sooo so much to make sure i was completely satisfied, he was working on the drawing for over an hour and i really appreciated his attention to detail. i knew too that he would execute this amazingly and exactly as i had wanted it. so the design i wanted was the flower of life, but taking over my shoulder. the flower of life is sacred geometry; what this entire fabric of what we call reality is woven of. i see it all the time and it's literally everywhere. when it came to placing the stencil on my shoulder, i knew the design would not be perfect because of the limitations of this physical reality. i obviously understand that he didn't want the design to look bad, and appreciate it, but i literally saw the solution so clearly and also had so much confidence in eli and his artwork. vaughn started insulting the tattoos that i have, saying 'it's not my fault you have two fucked up tattoos' (they're not, btw) and then began literally YELLING at me. it was at this point that i couldn't proceed with eli and i's work, so asked him to wipe it off so i could leave. as a business owner, i would never speak to a customer that way, as you aren't a business without customers, lol. also, as a human, don't fucking yell at people, you have no idea what's going on in their lives. baaaaadddd vibessss. the way he acted was completely unprofessional, totally unnecessary and i will absolutely never step foot into the space again after being treated like complete garbage.

Visit Date: February 9, 2020…read more So I followed Marc Salerno (like he was my favorite musician) to this tattoo shop because I loved the tattoos he did for me when he was at space ace and I currently need tattoos for happiness so I've booked appointments with him until May with more to follow because I am getting an arm sleeve and than maybe more tattoos down my spine after that. The tattoos shop itself reminds me of someone's comfy living room with a tattoo shop inside. I'm also able to bring my son with me which is a plus especially because the appointments I have are during a time where I'm not sure if I could get anyone to watch him. For this recent visit Marc tattooed an open book on my arm. This is the second tattoo that's on my arm sleeve, I already had a black rose with a red ribbon on it from years ago. Marc is amazing, we have a good tattoo artist/tattooey vibe going on and he seems to be able to figure out what I'd like before I've completely figured it out. I'm not sure if he does that for all his clients but I can say that for myself. So I'm definitely impressed with East End Tattoo and if you're going to get an appointment here definitely book with Marc if you can. As long as he's working here yelp can see my tattoo sleeve in progress.

Amazing tattoo shop!…read more I came here after following both the shop and their apprentice artist (Nicole) on Instagram. The shop looks tiny from the outside but inside it is cozy and welcoming. Their online booking system is great and allowed me to communicate with Nicole regarding my tattoo. When the time came to head over to the shop, I received a text with the waiver and a place to upload an image of my license. Much better than handling all that paperwork in the shop! Nicole was great and personable and made sure I was more than happy with the stencil placement prior to actually tattooing me. There were only two others in the shop so it was a rather quiet experience except for Nicole and I chatting (which I appreciated). The aftercare balm they suggest is only $5 which is a nice touch! They also give you an aftercare bag full of goodies, including a lollipop.

Came for their Friday the 13th special. Hard to judge overall...but I feel what I observed happens…read moreon the regular. My friend and I saw their flash sheet for Friday the 13th specials. We are both off on Friday, so we made plans to go. Due to Covid, things are a bit different. We had to add our names to the list, and then we were told we would be called when it was our turn. We waited and waited. We ended up waiting over 5 hours! I feel the girl that was taking names should have told us how long the wait was as we would have not waited in the car and would have went out for lunch or something. However, the good thing about waiting in the car was we saw the tattoo artists take multiple smoke breaks! The piercer also took multiple breaks to smoke. Not sure how sanitary smoking and then doing tattoos/piercings are, but I would hope hands were washed before starting a new tattoo, even though gloves are always worn. When it was finally our turn, we learned that only ONE artist was doing the Friday 13th special, which would explain why it was taking so long. Again, this should have been told when we added our names to the list. When it was my turn, my artist was very quick. What do you want? Where do you want it? Having many tattoos, I know this is the process, but how about a quick introduction as well? I don't even know what my artist's name is/was. He also did NOT wrap the tattoo when it was done. Also, when I was getting my tattoo, another artist came into my "room" and was having a full on conversation with my artist talking about the client he had just tattooed. He was also showing my artist pictures on his phone. So inappropriate to do when doing a tattoo. That conversation could have waited for the next smoke break Even though I went to this shop for a "sale" I wouldn't recommend this place for a tattoo or a piercing to anyone.
