I came here after a massive stroke to see Parker Rose and Kevin Lannan and had no idea what to expect. I heard very good reviews and they were highly recommended especially for stroke victims. They have a new business in Floyd's knobs. It's perfect for what they are doing. Everything is impeccable there and very organized. The secretaries are very nice and caring. All that said... is just gravy on top. Kevin and Parker are amazing folks personally as well as professionally. I'm so glad to have met such great people. I can't say enough about how impressed I and my wife are with them! They know their profession better than I could have ever imagined and have helped me recover faster than we thought was possible. During our first visit, I explained that my neck injury treatment would be complicated due to bilateral shoulder injuries. I explained that they were out-of-state work related injuries and that I was having issues finding providers willing to take me on due to the insurance issues. Emily volunteered to sign on as a provider. Just like that. She cheerfully filled out all of that paperwork. Over the past couple of years, Emily has treated me for my injuries through two surgeries (and likely a third soon) with the same gracious ease and compassion that she exhibited that first day. She's treated my husband for a knee injury (same car accident) and my son when his knee was annihilated on the football field. She's been a fantastic cheerleader and advocate for me throughout this ordeal. Honestly, there are days when I feel like Emily is the only person involved in my care who actually listens when I talk. She knows when to push and she knows when to stop. She's also funny and charming and makes the work of recovery seem less like work. When Emily took some time off to have a baby, my treatment was taken over by Steve. Steve is just a skilled and friendly as Emily. He's easy to talk to and willing to consider all available options for treatment (even crazy sounding stuff like "Dry Needling"). He's also not offended when you tell him that you'll never consider that painful, new aged hooey ever again. These folks will go out of their way to make sure that you get what you need to get better. You just have to show up and sweat. So, when you find yourself busted and broken, I'd highly recommend the team at KORT in New Albany. You'll get top-notch, compassionate care from people who actually love what they do and do it well.

The actual office has no idea about what they are billing and sent me to some billing office in another state. The actual bills were nearly impossible to understand. The top columns had no headings so it was difficult to know what my insurance deducted or even paid. The girl in the office in the other state sent more paperwork to try to clear up the confusion and made it more confusing. I think I was over billed but just wanted to be done with the practice so I paid it. I would not recommend this physical therapy office and wished I had done better research. Also, many of the sessions were all different prices which should be explained in the bill.

When my hands got tired and I laid my phone down for a minute and my review dissapeared. So am not sure its even worth the pain the leave a review. I have been a chronic pain patient with Clasby for several years. I have been on pain meds since 2008. I have done injections. Chiropractor, physical therapy, and acupuncture all to no avail. My pain had continued to get worse. Before the government got its MD, and Drs were allowed to treat their patients and not operate in fear, and could uphold their oath to do no harm, I have a decent quality of life and was allowed to have the meds that relieved my pain. I had been a on oxycontin 80 2 x daily along with valium. I am 63 years old and have never flunked a drug test. My pain has continued to get worse, and I had begged Dr. Clasby to help me by giving me valium, as it was the only thing that would alleviate my carpal tunnel pain and fibromyalgia spasms. He refused. My pain was so bad it was waking me up crying. I haven't had a solid night sleep in years. So when I found a valium on my bedroom floor and I was in so much pain my son said he could hear me crying out when he was on the opposite end of the house, with my door closed and fan on, I took it and got relief. Later that week I went to my regular appointment and Dr. Clasby. They took a urine test, but I had never failed one and so was very shocked to receive a letter from him right before Christmas dropping me. He always quoted the CDC guidelines to me when I asked for a valium. Well the CDC guidelines state you shouldn't drop a patient who fails a drug test, but work with them. So he has condemned me to a life sentence of pain. How does this fulfill his DO NO HARM oath? Even the legal system gives 1st offenders probation not a life sentence. The legal system also let's you tell your side of the story, and takes into account mitigating circumstances. But not Dr. Clasby. I thought he was a kind and empathetic person. But I guess I was wrong. I wrote him a letter asking him to reconsider and abide by the CDC guidelines, but no response. He could have referred me to another pain center or at least listened to my side of the story.

I'm…read morenot the one receiving the care this time, so I can say that I know I wouldn't come here and I'm so very sorry my daughter is stuck going here :( I went to Kort in J-town back when we lived in the happier part of the world (sorry it is just not the sunnier side of Louisville). Kort was SO friendly, their equipment was state of the art, their therapists always attentive and concerned for their clients. They were always helpful to work around my schedule, the last time we scheduled here - they thought it was perfectly acceptable to come in the day after the biggest holiday of the year and the day before the next biggest (Christmas and New Year's). I was dumbfounded. This is just not the same reception or care I receive here - nor does my daughter. :( I would definitely not recommend this to someone else - and I think if my daughter ever need physical therapy again, we will look into Kort. :-/
