The staff has been compassionate and caring. You can talk to them about anything. The only drawback as a Christian, they do not share my views on marriage, and tend to be on the woke side. My daughter has been there since October 2025. Last night she had a fever and in pain. Immediately the Nurse Practitioner ordered a stomach X-ray. The night nurse, Brandy took extra care. The day nurse Danyial called me this morning to tell me results and that her vitals are good. This is the key nd of care I have come to expect. read more

My experience here was not positive. The food quality was consistently nasty, and customer service left a lot to be desired. Communication was lacking, concerns were often ignored, and the overall environment felt disorganized. I would not recommend this facility to others until meaningful improvements are made. read more

I have already posted this on Google, but I think people need to know. The place looks great and the rehab staff are great BUT the care and food are subpar. The first few days I assumed they would take my 91 year old mother to the bathroom to brush her teeth. Then I noticed that her brand new toothbrush was still in the original package. I went to the desk where three people were on their phones and asked if someone would help her brush her teeth. They looked annoyed and said they would send someone. Three hours later, I got her to the bathroom. After several days of this I do not even bother asking. The icing on the cake came today when the doctor found a necrotic wound on her foot. I waited 3 hours to talk to someone and then found out she had left, and even though everyone at the desk knew I was waiting to see her, did not bother to tell me. The management play games rather face issues and the receptionists are useless. I am enraged. DO NOT COME HERE. THEY WILL KILL YOU. I have added a photo of her wound, that they did not see. EDIT: If you look on the website, there are no pictures, emails, or business phone numbers for administrative staff. At the facility, no one has a business card and the offices have the job title by each door, but no names. I do not know anyone's last name. Each door is locked with a keypad. I do not think I am the first one they have angered. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! Our family member was here because the family could not care for him at home. He was bedridden and unable to care for himself. He was a respected man proud and always cared about others and himself. He was not cared for properly by this facility on many levels. Firstly his medication was often not given properly- we would find on floors in the bed and obviously not taken. Had numerous meetings and this was addressed, Still follow through was not there. He was not bathed shaved washed shampood as promised weekly. He smelled and this embarrassed himself as well as the family especially when people would drop by and visit. Again, this issue was addressed in facility meetings and was not followed through. COMMUNICATION TERRIBLE- the family was not contacted often when issues or valid concerns would arise. Yet again this was addressed in facility meetings. He passed without the family being contacted that he was even ill. The family was not given an opportunity to say goodbye... Our loved ones deserve better care. This is not the place no matter how nice it may appear. Best of luck with your dear loved one! read more

My family and l have not had a good experience at Valhalla Post Acute Rehabilitation. My mother had serious back surgery on 4/13/23. We have had a long hard fought battle to keep her from infection and out of pain. She is 77 years old. We have had problems getting her meds to her, not on time, but twice she didn't get them at all. She also did not receive breakfast on 4/30/23, or dinner on 4/30/23. We have a treatment planning meeting tomorrow and we will be addressing this with staff. The wait at night to get a call button answered is an eternity, with the aide whom finally did answer had obviously been sleeping. I have not been happy with her treatment there so far and hope to get her out of there ASAP. I will say that the rehabilitation team has worked with her well. We are pleased with the results with PT. It's scary for anyone to have such a big surgery, but l need her to feel safe, not for her to have to be unsure of she is going to receive food or meds at the specified times. I am not very pleased thus far, hopefully things will get better, but we are paying A LOT of money for her care. I would like to have some peace of mind. I, at this time, would not recommend Valhalla Post Acute Rehabilitation to anyone who is looking. read more
