Interior: the entire hotel was very clean and had a nice appearance. I utilized the board room for classes and it was the perfect size as well as clean. The breakfast area was always clean. It is a little confusing as there is a "bar" area to the left of the entrance that has juice and coffee available. I wasn't sure I could go back there, but the staff let me know it was perfectly fine. Room: the room was far more spacious than I expected and very clean. It was exceptionally comfortable for both working and relaxing. The only complaint I have is that the walls were pretty thin. I could hear the running feet from the floor above me and once in a while, heard others from above. There were just enough power outlets for each of my devices, which is nice. Breakfast: it was a good breakfast, though it didn't change at all. It would be nice to have a little variety each day. Staff: they were all wonderful! They were able to provide me information about the local area, such as restaurants, shopping, etc. Everyone was very personable and professional. Wi-fi: I had no issues with the wi-fi the entire time. For being in a such a small town, I had expected some, but it was flawless! Approx $54 w/tax The hotel has a homey feel from the time you walk in the front door all the way to your room. The rooms feel very clean. Especially the beds, I hardly ever sleep under the blankets at hotel a because they normally look/feel/smell weird/gross, but I did not feel that way here. Showers had good pressure and heat however there was no shampoo or conditioner just two small hand soap bars. Only downfall I would say. Plenty of towels and rags. Also has a decent sized flat screen TV. Rooms feel kind of old school, vintage. There's a sitting area downstairs with complimentary coffee. There is also a small porch with chairs as well. If we are in the area would definitely be willing to stay here again.

To top it off, my door latch has issues; to the point of working about 1 in 10 attempts. Key card works, but the latch isn't catching to open the door. So now, my clothes are in a washer that I can't use whilst i wait for Maintenance that is not located on site. Understandable, since it's 550pm, but I cannot get into my room. Room isn't fixed; I have to lift the latch a certain way til check-out. As for the quarters, the local gas station said no and that this isn't the first time someone from the hotels have asked. So here I am, a POC in a rural town, driving around, not from here, after a 1200 mile journey, looking for quarters. Hampton, live up to the satisfaction guarantee so a Gold HH guest doesn't have to feel so uncomfortable. Ill be traveling around 60 nights next year, so lets hope the Hampton brand (which is most common in areas I travel through) has more prepared locations. Ill be back thru town in 2 weeks.
