However, I'm thrilled to say my search is finally over. Why? Because I found Steph at Serenity and she is terrific! Okay, first things first... As a guy, I'm usually indifferent to ambiance, but the place is extremely clean, smells great and overall has a nice inviting atmosphere. Next, I've had many massages throughout Northern and Southern California over many years. I can tell when someone cares about you and when they are just going through the motions. Steph truly cares. She is professional, strong, and knows how to work out tension, sore muscles, and leave you feeling great! Each time I've left I feel so much better and so relaxed I almost feel I should wait for a while before I drive! If you've had a great massage in the past, you know exactly what I'm talking about. And if you haven't, well, it's time to see Steph! Highest possible recommendation!

She then asked front desk lady to confirm and lady up front finally realized I was not getting one.

Bina encouraged me to keep the oil in my hair overnight and I was amazed at how healthy my hair felt for weeks after the treatment (an unexpected surprise)! I will definitely be back for another treatment with Bina and I highly recommend her!

What I received was basically just light tapping on the face, with no real kneading or pressure anywhere. For $85, it wasn't a proper massage at all. If that's her style, it should've been clarified upfront. She also had an unwelcoming attitude before the session even started, which became a little awkward. I reached out afterward and got a polite but unhelpful response. Disappointed. I honestly felt scammed and wouldn't recommend if you're expecting a real Indian head massage.

Absolutely amazing massage experience!…read more Claudia has created a relaxing and quiet environment with soft music as she uses a soothing body oil. She is highly trained and knows exactly what works for each individual. Feel all the tension release and your body become mush. The only sad thing is that it comes to an end and you have to muster up the strength to get up to leave. Definitely worth getting an hour and a half massage. I asked to use the bathroom before my session, but instead of helping, they kept directing me straight to the massage room. I ended up having to find the bathroom on my own. My massage therapist didn't speak any English, and despite repeatedly asking for light pressure, she continued using heavy pressure and even started hitting me with her fists in certain areas. It stopped feeling like a massage and more like being struck. This was supposed to be a two‑hour session, but I couldn't relax at all because the hitting continued throughout. The only positives were that the place itself looked nice and the price was reasonable. Still, the overall experience was so uncomfortable that I will not be booking here again.

Staff was friendly, and seemed to be running around doing their best to help customers on site (possibly short-handed). Gentle melodies played quietly in the background during our session, but the ticking of the clock was loud and a bit bothersome in our massage room. The decor and setting was clean and simple. I loved the comfy face hole pillows on the massage beds, which felt like a soft memory foam type of material. Our masseuses were in and out of the massage room, leaving the room at least 3 times combined during our session to help other customers outside of the room (I know this because it happened every time the door bell to the entrance rang). This doesn't count the times they left for hot towels. We asked for hard pressure for both of us, but my bf's masseuse did a better job at it than mine. His massage bed had bars hanging from the ceiling which was used for back walking. For my treatment, there were moments that felt like my masseuse applied deep tissue strength, but the pressure wasn't consistent, and she didn't really work on my knots. I did appreciate that she did a thorough job on my feet though. That was probably the best part of my full body massage.
