We just…read moreweren't happy with the products others had, or the fact that they all wanted to rush the install. Nor would these other companies remove and replace baseboards. So we finally stumble across Amazing Floors. From my first phone call with Frank, to my quote experience with Daniel (owner). They treated us very well. I did not have to negotiate for an hour for a better price. Daniel gave me the best price out the gate. This price also included removing old flooring and baseboards, and installing new flooring and new Baseboards. The price even included repairing or replacing any damaged subfloor areas. Within reason of course. I did have 3 small sections of subfloor that need to be replaced. So just want to point out. All these big box companies I received quotes from would only do half the work for double the cost. Selecting then product, Frank was super patient with us when we went to the show room. We finally narrowed down to two options. He let us take large samples home so we could set it in different areas throughout the house to see which one we liked best. Once we made our decision, the rest was pretty seamless. They scheduled our install date, we had to change it a couple of times and they totally worked with us and were understanding about it. Install day arrives. The wife and I moved most of the furniture to the garage. I wanted the team focused on doing my floors, not moving my furniture around lol. The tore everything out on day one. Prepped and cleaned the subfloor and started laying the LVP flooring we selected. Should note, they also fixed any floor squeaking areas too. So they installed about 3/4 of the house on day 1. Then day 2 finished the flooring and installed the new baseboards. ( please note - a few weeks before my install date. The company dropped off my baseboards per my request. So I could paint them before hand.) so glad we did this, it made life so much easier. All I had to do is cover the nail holes and touch up. The Amazing floor team was very professional and courtesy at every level. We are so happy with our floor install. We will for sure use them on the future. Jason and Sandy were incredible! They were so easy to work with, did such a great job setting up…read morethe 2.5 day sale, and communicated frequently. Here's a snapshot of everything they did. First, I made the call and talked to Jason who walked me through their overall process. When I said I needed something turnkey, I wasn't kidding, and he said "no problem!" And he was right! He and Sandy came out to my parents' house and explained everything in person. I had spoke to a couple of other companies before finding them through a google search, and I could tell right away their level of service was great. Second, they did a pre-staging cleanout once I had taken a few items from the home my mom wanted to keep. There was a lot to sort through in a home that had been lived in since 1959. And with my dad's dementia, (he started hoarding) Jason and Sandy had a lot to go through with trash and things that needed to be removed before the stagine. They know what sells, and what doesn't, and they got ready for the staging. They came to the house often (used a lockbox I set up) and started the staging. When Sandy told me she would make it look like a retail store with shelving units she wasn't kidding. They brought in numerous shelving units and got right to work. She worked on the upstairs, bedrooms, kitchen stuff, etc. while Jason worked in the basement, shed, and garage. I watched the staging unfold with anticipation knowing we'd have a great sale. Third, after the staging was all ready, I waited in anticipation for the big day. On the day of the sale I dropped by about 30 minutes before the start/open to drop off "coming soon" for sale flyers for the kitchen table. People were already gathering on the sidewalk, parking their cars, etc. They had put out large signage sandwhich boards on multiple streets to let people know about the sale, and included the listing on the estate internet site. The sale was then on! The first day was great. There were a few hundred people through on day 1 alone. Days 2 and 3 have lower volume which is expected, but so much sold I was so impressed. They did a really good job merchandising the items and the sales proved how worthwhile that was. Next came the "all out" cleanout. They brought in a dumpster and took out everything that didn't sell and left the house broom clean for me to have the carpet cleaners come in next. Jason and Sandy were very accessible, very transparent in the process, and ongoing status, and kept me inoformed of what was coming next. I highly recommend All Out Estate Sales.
