Not sure why there's so many negative reviews. The people who work here have always been nice and…read morehelpful. The new remodel looks great and the new equipment is awesome! They now have free weight squat racks and bench. The bathrooms are clean. It's never too busy, well at least when I go which is like 5-7 am. All in all great experience.

I am a recent member of PF, and am new to the Nashville scene - so after some time at my apartment…read moregym, I wanted to get access to equipments I wouldn't have otherwise at my apartment. Here are my thoughts on the experience: 1. Cleanliness - unfortunately, this is horrible. The equipment often feels dirty, and I sometimes get black markings on my hands from touching the weights, which is quite disgusting. The men's bathroom is even worse - it's dirty, musty, and lacks proper air flow, making the experience of simply washing my hands unpleasant. I didn't even bother to look into the lockers or showers because I bet I'd be frightened with how this may be "upkept." 2. Staff interaction - for me, this has been on a minimal, as I usually just want to get in and out for my workout. From what I've seen, they seem friendly enough, but I haven't had much need to engage with them. 3. Equipment Availability - this is generally okay. Though it can get busy during peak hours. Timing your workouts outside these peak times is crucial if you want to make sure you have access to the equipment you need and wouldn't want to wait / or if you're simply in a rush. 4. Overall Experience - while the price is great, the overall experience leaves me feeling otherwise. You feel like the equipment and facilities is neglected, and it impacts the quality of your workout environment in a way. So, if cleanliness is important to you - you might reconsider your options. But if you're looking for price/budget, this is great seriously! Just be intentional and wipe down anything you use BEFORE and AFTER, don't want to risk catching anything because you're not staying clean.

There…read morewas a day summer camp eating on picnic tables behind the building while one of the counselors was blasting extremely explicit rap music. The oldest kid in this summer camp was no more than 10 years old. Some looked as young as 5. None of the music was the "clean version". Almost every single song mentioned sex. It took everything in me to not walk over there to see what the hell was going on. I had to post something about it, because I would NEVER let my kids step foot in something like that.

I so love McCabe Park Community Center!…read more They offer a full gym with basketball courts, a running track, cardio machines, weight rooms, and the option to rent the facility. I love that it's modern and new and the staff is always friendly. They offer memberships and a 10 pass package for very reasonable prices, but what's amazing is that if you want to stop in for a one time visit to take a class or use the facility, it's only $3!!!! I have been to fancy gyms that charge $20 if you don't have a membership. Ridiculous. The classes are also great, I love the boot camp they offer and it will totally kick your butt! It's not for the faint of heart. My only complaint; I wish they were open on Sundays! But overall a lovely facility that I am so pleased to have in my neighborhood!

It reminded me a bit of a rowing version of Soul Cycle or Cycle Bar. The lights were dimmed, and the focus was put on the numbers as a group. I really enjoyed the collective mentality around rowing success. Upon entering, the staff sweetly greet you and give you a quick introductory row lesson for you to keep up with the rest of the class. I had some experience already, but I really appreciate how kind everyone was from the get-go. The enthusiasm was infectious, and the other rowers were also quite excite about the class. They only part that I believe I should warn anyone going into Row House about is their intense marketing. While I enjoyed the class, I needed time to think about committing to a package, but I was never afforded that. Upon exiting the class, the front desk began asking me to commit to a monthly or other pass. I kept repeating that I needed time to think about it. It just...felt like they couldn't take no for an answer, and I was hounded by follow-up texts and calls for weeks afterwards. I ended up responding when the representative on the phone made an incorrect assumption about how I felt about the class. I felt positively about the class, but was totally off-put by the intense communication aftewards. Other than that, it was great. Parking is reasonable, and there's a private lot in the back. Definitely give it a shot if you're in the area! It's a great workout.

Holy smokes I am sore writing this review (in a good way)…read more I came in with some experience with rowing and was so excited to try this workout. The instructor, Sarah, was there to introduce herself and give me the tips/tricks on how this class was going to be and how to get the right row form. The check-in process was easy by telling the front desk your name and putting your personal items in the self-lock lockers they provide. Note you will get assigned a rower so you CAN'T hide in the back, which is awesome, really got me outside of my comfort zone. There are different type of classes a 80/20, 50/50 or 60/40 type meaning more rowing vs. more full-body floor exercises. There is also packages that you can purchase and its great to include with your workout regiment.
