Both times I called the reception staff was friendly and willing to work on a good time to get him in. Dr. Golob is thorough, compassionate, explains things well, patiently answers questions and gives the impression that he really does care about you. The office is clean, organized, modern, and close to our house with decent hours. But best of all, each time my son got done with his appt his back felt better. I also like that Dr. Golob doesnt try to get you into an "unnecessary plan". He just said, come in when you need to. I also would like to mention that Dr. Golob is a Rotarian, which also impresses me. Love that he is interested in giving back to his community. We will be back. Thanks!

The pain in my hip and lower back subsided within 20 minutes of leaving his office. I still has some pain but I could move around and bend down again! It was fantastic. He asked me to come in 4 days later and I did. I was a little tight still so he said if I wanted to I could come in again but unless I was in pain that I shouldn't worry about it until I felt I needed to again. :-)

One acupuncture visit with Shelby at Olympia Community Acupuncture turned my pain around. Shelby suggested a second visit a few days later, then once a week for a month. I'm grateful for the sliding fee, which made it accessible to make those appointments. I've only had to have 2 pain pills since these treatments. I could cry, the relief has been liberating. I've been to her for acupuncture and herbs for about 5 visits so far and I feel so much better. Even after the first visit I felt a big improvement. At first I went once a week (my choice) then we'll be switching to every other week. She is the opposite of pushy, very mellow, so you pick if you want to come back in one week or two. I went to her for fatigue, stress, intestinal issues, etc. which is all greatly reduced now but I want to keep going to build even more of a sense of strength, stamina, and joy. Furthermore she even knows naturopath stuff like ordering blood tests, evaluating ones you've already gotten, food alergies & reactivities, food/diet suggestions, etc. I feel like she's my one stop shop for all my needs due to the fact that she's super knowledgeable w/eastern medicine but also definitely enough western medicine too. From her website and meeting her you can tell that she's the best kind of super-geek who has studied a ton and keeps studying, but all because she is driven to help people. Oh and I almost forgot to mention that she has an online booking feature on her website so you can see what's available and book right away. At this pt it's on the contact page, upper right corner has a "Schedule with us" icon. You can even just book a first meeting to talk but I'm experienced as a patient of acupuncture so I knew I wanted to start w/ an acupuncture treatment.
