I am grateful I found her as an accupuncturist. i began seeing her for sleeping problems i have about three years back. after my first session with her, i slept like a baby. her accupuncture and chinese herbs are sure to help in any ailment you might have. I love the fact that she also teaches Chi Gong Yoga ( i might have spelled that incorrectly). i would recommened everyone and anyone to go see Susan.!!!!!

While we were staying in Olympia, I developed some pretty bad allergies, after all, WA and AZ are VERY different. My symptoms got so bad that I couldn't breathe through my nose at all. Not wanting to send me to a doctor and pump me full of synthetic and harmful drugs, the husband found out about Chinese Medicine, and that led us Susan Monaco. I decided to try out this Chinese Medicine stuff and I was feeling pretty positive because I know the powers of natural healing. I met with her for an herbal consultation and after a chat with me about my symptoms and my medical history along with a pulse check and a tongue check, I was on my way with a weeks worth of herbs to mix with hot water. I will not lie, these herbs were the nastiest things I have ever tasted. It was truly awful. However, after two weeks of using them I watched my allergy symptoms almost disappear. An herbal consultation will run you 35 dollars, cash or check, and the herbs, a week's worth, will cost between 15-20 dollars. They also have acupuncture available, but I did not partake in that procedure. If any of you Olympians are feeling not well and would like an alternative approach to your health care, do not hesitate to give Susan Monaco a call.

There's so many wonderful reviews and I really need this service so I'm confused? Is Dr. Bilodeau still practicing? I haven't heard anything back from the number or email I've reached out to on her website.

Dr. Michelle Bilodeau is the best acupuncturist / Chinese herbs / TCM person I've ever found. I've been to her for acupuncture and herbs for about 5 visits so far and I feel so much better. Even after the first visit I felt a big improvement. At first I went once a week (my choice) then we'll be switching to every other week. She is the opposite of pushy, very mellow, so you pick if you want to come back in one week or two. I went to her for fatigue, stress, intestinal issues, etc. which is all greatly reduced now but I want to keep going to build even more of a sense of strength, stamina, and joy. Furthermore she even knows naturopath stuff like ordering blood tests, evaluating ones you've already gotten, food alergies & reactivities, food/diet suggestions, etc. I feel like she's my one stop shop for all my needs due to the fact that she's super knowledgeable w/eastern medicine but also definitely enough western medicine too. From her website and meeting her you can tell that she's the best kind of super-geek who has studied a ton and keeps studying, but all because she is driven to help people. Oh and I almost forgot to mention that she has an online booking feature on her website so you can see what's available and book right away. At this pt it's on the contact page, upper right corner has a "Schedule with us" icon. You can even just book a first meeting to talk but I'm experienced as a patient of acupuncture so I knew I wanted to start w/ an acupuncture treatment.

She is a third generation acupuncturist and is incredibly talented. I have some pretty tricky conditions, including lyme, myalgic encephalomyelitis (formerly known as chronic fatigue syndrome), and multiple chemical sensitivities. After a treatment from her, I always feel better, including a calm kind of energy. These conditions are very difficult to treat, and it is amazing that she can help me feel better. In addition, her office is nontoxic and has always been safe for me with my scent and chemical sensitivities. My husband went to see her recently for really bad neck and shoulder pain and she did a great job helping him with that too. She also is very warm and easy to talk to, she really cares about her patients. Before I knew I had lyme, and had been searching for a diagnosis for years, when I first began to see her for acupuncture she was the first medical person to mention it as a possibility. I would highly recommend her to anybody!

The main reason for giving five stars today is that when I came in for acupuncture for a back pain/tension issue, after only one session all my residual pain/tension has disappeared. I have had acupuncture in the past, but this treatment was stellar. I highly recommend.
