I am writing a review for Restoration ArTechs to recognize the wonderful job they did at our home restoring our stainless steel bar sink and stovetop rim. I see a lot of reviews on Yelp for Barry, Elvis, and Renee at this company, however we dealt with a completely different team (possibly because we live in Orange County?!) We dealt with Kat (receptionist), Frank (lead technician) and Jason (our main technician). All of them are amazing!!! They worked hard, explained all the issues in great detail, and restored our stainless steel sink like new. The issue we had was a bunch of spots on the stainless steel due to tile sealant drops on the stainless steel sink; this happened when the crew who did our floors accidentally poured some tile sealant in the stainless steel sink. After trying everything under the sun including deep cleaning, we almost lost hope that the spots would ever be removed. We started looking for a replacement sink. We found Restoration ArTech on the internet and with Kat's great help we scheduled the appointment ... and the rest is history!!! After about one hour's work and after carefully and thoughtfully applying different levels of regraining, our technicians were able to remove the tenacious stain on the stainless steel. They were all very professional and explained every step in the process. During the scheduling process it was extremely helpful to talk to Frank who reviewed pictures of the issue and advised accordingly. These guys are true experts and very nice to work with. I knew I was a dead man... I put on some water on to boil and forgot about it... then I left the house to run some errands! The good news is that I didn't burn down our house... the bad is that my wife got home to a red hot kettle with a handle that had completely melted and fused onto the top of our new Bertazonni range. I searched all over the Internet then thought of Yelp. Typed in Stainless Steel Range repair and got Restoration Artechs. Spoke with Barry who told me that I must explain to my wife that it's cheaper to buy a new range than pay for my funeral. Appreciating that advice, we made an appointment. Unfortunately, a miscommunication necessitated a 2nd appointment. This time, Barry sent out his crew led by Elvis and they were AMAZING. After 40 minutes, you couldn't tell that there had been any damage. The crew was very professional, friendly and competent... My only suggestion is to get a quote before the work starts... they aren't cheap but, since they had to come up to Hollywood from Carlsbad and they saved our $4000 range and possibly my life, it was worth every penny. Restoration Artechs ROCKS!!!! I started a kitchen remodel in July 2016. I bought stainless steel appliances which included a sink and WOLF range top. During the installation of the sink, the installer set the granite on top of the sink and then pulled it forward! It left a 3" wide scratch on top on my pristine new sink!!! I was not happy. The installer tried to fix it and left not only the scratches but arched graining. Then during the installation of my range hood, instead of covering the stove before cutting the hole for the vent, it was covered after the hole was cut. Needless to say the stove was totally scratched up. I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT!!! My crowning jewel of my new kitchen looked like a 2nd hand stove that I picked up at at a discount center. I was devastated and angry! How could people be so careless with other people's appliances. I thought I would have to live with this then I found Artechs. I spoke with Barry via phone and email several times, and we were finally able to get an appointment set. Carlos, the technician, came to my house on a Saturday and took about 30 minutes to totally restore my appliances. It was AMAZING!!!
