The Pansoti, Spinach Tagliatelle, and Eggplant Parm are my favorites! Soft, handmade pasta cooks in 2 minutes, delicious!

One of the largest and most impressive farmers markets with fresh produce and large selection of food stalls. As an avid fan of farmers markets, I've been to over 20+ FreshFarm & Central Farm Markets in MD, VA, and DC and the Reston market is among my favorites. There are over 20 food stall and produce vendors as well as several craft vendors around the lake. Lots of selection! I really enjoyed a fresh blueberry cobbler at one of the food stalls. I bought 2 packs of blueberries which stayed plump after 10 days. I got fresh green beans, red potatoes, and corn. I bought handmade spinach Tagliatelle and cheese pansotti (large raviolis) from Cavanna Pasta. They were sold out of the eggplant parm, which is quite tasty! With my fresh produce and pasta, I cooked up a storm for a dinner party and everyone enjoyed it! We made a casserole out of the veggies. Both pasta dishes were a big hit, the spinach Tagliatelle was really soft and goes well with pesto. The Pansotti is light with a bold flavor of cheese and garlic blends well with a marinara sauce. Will be back for more pasta dishes! The entrees from GreenFare were a hit or a miss. I really enjoyed the Organic Thai Kale Quinoa, I had several helpings throughout the course of the week and it keeps well. I wasn't a fan of the sweet potato lasagna. It just tasted funny and sadly threw it away. I also wish the vendor refrigerated the entrees at the farmer's market as they were in direct heat, which may have contributed to the quality of the food. Get here early as things gets sold out and selection starts getting limited after 11am. Parking may require some patience. Impressive farmers market and looking forward to coming back when I'm in the area!

Reston farmer's market is set-up in the parking lot and inside of Lake Anne plaza, every Saturday 8am thru noon. Open from May until November. Must find street parking since it will be hard to find parking in the parking lot unless you go right when it opens. No Dogs Allowed into the market. The market will have fresh seasonal fruits and veggies, plants/flowers, preserves, local honey, baked goods, delicious food and so much more. Go farther inside and you'll find jewelry, handcrafted items, and artworks. If you see kettle corn, salteñas and empanadas...try them all! Very delicious! If you are looking for food. Sweet, salty and savory food or snacks. You'll find it all at Reston Farmers Market!!

Looking for my Sorrel they said was all sold out by 8:00 AM, wonder when should I come to find it next week??

We used to live in Reston City, this Farmers Market Used to our weekly routine! After my Mom return to God, passed away Stopped going there due to moving back to our original home! I miss everything there in Reston City!!! However most farmers remembered me, specially the ice cream lady! It immediately felt home there, love all the hand crafted items, so many stuff The moment I stepped at the market had mixed feelings, remembered my late mom, who was very much in love with all exotic fresh crisp veggies & fruits!!!

Wonderful farmer's market by Lake Anne, Reston - with a huge selection of local fruits, veggies, baked goods, flowers, vendors, and everything in between. The location is fabulous; parking is never an issue and it's a great area to walk around after you've picked up what you need. Lake Anne is right there, along with a local coffee shop (just meh, but serves its purpose) and a fabulous brewery. Check it out!

I'm a fan of the Reston Farmer's Market. It may not be the largest farmers market out there, but I'm glad that it exists and enjoy it for its convenience. Located in Lake Anne Village Center, you will find good quality veggies, meats, milk, baked goods, unique art, handcrafted jewlry, handmade soaps, fresh popcorn, clothes, spices, etc. Things are pricey at the farmers market, but you are supporting local farmers and small businesses. I often find unique items here and they serve as great gifts. We always enjoy our goods from the farmers market and the vendors are always sweet and helpful. The farmers market is held on Saturdays from 8 am-noon. It starts in May and goes through November. Parking can be difficult to find, your best bet is street parking.

I love this market because it has such a wonderful variety of produce as well as other products. I am hoping that in our new, post-Covid world there is a way for this market to continue. Picture attached is from last summer, you can see the variety of products I was able to purchase in one stop.

Outstanding selection! Consistently awarded Best in NoVA. Has 32 vendors selling fruits, vegetables, meats/seafood, baked goods, flowers, dairy products, snacks, etc. Located in historic Lake Anne Plaza. One of oldest farmers markets in Fairfax Co., opening in 1998. Open April to December; 8am-12pm. No dogs (county ordinance). http://restonfarmersmarket.com/

Be careful with the pricing. Paid $11 for 3 tomatoes and 2 broccoli heads. Lady seem to just make it up. Better off going to wholefoods.

My haul from Reston Farmer's market: these beauties were irresistible!!

Last time I went I learned about bird friendly coffee, bought some lomo saltado that made me reminisce about a previous trip to Peru, got some sausage and fresh fruit & veggies. I love shopping at the Herndon Farmers market where I can pick from a good selection of fresh, locally grown, wonderfully tasting produce. I love meeting the growers/farmers, talking about their farms, talking about their and my shared love for gardening. You can taste what a tomato is supposed to taste like with absolutely no yukky plastic taste like you'll find in a grocery store. A locally farm grown carrot or sweet peas is almost like eating candy because the are so sweet. And the fruit! Oh what the flavor of a watermelon tastes like when it's not a washed out flavor of a mass produced product. The farmers are always willing to answer any and all questions I may have and for the high quality of their produce I find their pricing very fair. They are in the same place all of us are with this economy and they understand we are all looking for a good price and they provide those.
