But, it was open when we were hungry and had lots of options, so we ordered a small cheese pizza, a small pepperoni pizza, and garlic knots. We had to wait awhile, but that was okay, we hung out outside; the weather wasn't too bad that evening, although it would've been nice to get an ETA to know that we could've run to the grocery store. We got our boxes and stepped outside. Because there had been a large group also in the store and the staff seemed a bit frazzled, we decided to check our boxes. Luckily, we did, because both were pepperoni. They were nice when they understood the dilemma, but kept insisting we ordered 2 pepperoni, although the receipt said otherwise. So, more waiting for a fresh pizza, but this time it was faster.
As for the taste, it was a big, fat "meh." Kind of bland, didn't taste like much. The garlic knots had a weird chemical taste to them? But, the food was pretty cheap and conveniently located to our hotel. Definitely wouldn't crave a return, but if I were starving? Desperate times, desperate measures.
