Not for the most affordable in Marbella, but undoubtably some of the tastiest. Then again, our prior eating ventures were low-key in price but definitely delicious. Hubs noticed Santiago during one of our beach days at Playa de Venus and vowed to return as a final dinner to celebrate my birthday. And when he looked at the menu, it was a go.
Striking interior design with light woods, whites and navy accents set themselves apart from the restaurants on the Avenida Duque de Ahumada strip. Without a reservation, it was no issue and seated outside.
Servers were all in attendance and worked jointly. The menu offers Starters, Soups, Salads, Rice, Seafood- of course, meats, Desserts, etc with exquisite taste. The €55 a kilo price on the menu for Centollo (Spider Crab) we ordered was incorrect. Newer and market price is currently €155 per kilo. But I must say, that spider crab dish is the best I've eaten in my life and prepared with a savory cream sauce in the crab's cavity. The only thing that would've made me more happy is ordering more bread and dunking it in the sauce- but I have to consider my surroundings.
The only nit-pick we had is that their paella isn't served in the pan like we're used to but instead plated for you. It's very good though. To round out my birthday dinner, hubs ordered a cheesecake on the sly with halved nectarines in a sweet and silky syrup that was delicious. We enjoyed it all. read more
