The artichoke hearts were wonderful. We had grilled vegetables and fish (rape) and our friends had grilled octopus (pulpo) and a skewer of fish shrimp and veggies over a wonderful rice base, with the smallest rice I've ever seen. All excellent. Confusion reigned when we ordered desert as the waiter knew the word fruit but not sorbet and my husband ended up with fresh sliced fruit. He was happy with it. My order of lemon ice cream was not available but instead of telling me it was not available and letting me choose something else, he brought me something he thought I wanted, which I didn't. When I clarified that I was ordering chocolate and vanilla ice cream, he brought me a desert that was neither and told me it was the only ice cream they had. It didn't take like ice cream, it was vanilla and chocolate but wasn't creamy. When I asked another waiter about it, he said it was an Italian dessert. It was good. When they realized the confusion, they sent a complimentary bottle of limoncello and four chocolate covered ice cream bites. So all was well. The restaurant is not expensive by North American standards but is for this region of Spain. We had a magical night with our first views of Gibraltar and the African coastline at sunset. I would come back.

They have won several prices for their rices and we make it a point to come every year we visit. The staff is extremely friendly and courteous. They recommend dishes and go out of their way to accommodate their guests. THE FOOD IS AMAZING! As an added bonus it is located water front, in the port, with nice views and atmosphere.

I have been to Spain many times, and have tried paella and am usually disappointed with the muddled taste and the fattiness, until now. This paella was really delicious. The shrimp tasted like shrimp, the muscles tasted like delicious muscles and the rice had the flavor of all the seafood. The salad was very refreshing to eat while we waited for our Paella to be cooked, which took some time, but all in all, not so bad, considering it has to simmer long. I recommend this place.

I think the most expensive was 3,70€ with most priced at 2,60€ or so. The weather has been a bit chilly, so we have sat inside rather than outside. It is very pleasant with upbeat music and stools. The restrooms are super clean. Service is absolutely excellent; friendly and efficient. We were never rushed and tapas would appear one after another instead of all at once. We feel they are genuinely happy you are here. The check has been between 18€ and 26€ for 6 tapas, 2x 0,0 beer and a sparkling water. There has not been a single time we have had to wait for a table. It's very popular so it's not easy to get a table if you want to sit outside. I had deep fried shrimps for a starter and was just what I been longing for. Very simple but tasteful My girlfriend had gazpacho which was delicious. Spicy and full of taste. For main course we had a fish caught from the sea 100 yards from the restaurant. I don't remember the Spanish name but it was very good. Served with boiled vegetables. That would not have been my choice but they were ok. I like Mediterranean french fries so next time I'll have that. Two sodas, two glasses of wine, starters and two main courses 41€ it's pretty good. Recommended!
