Peninsula is one of the restaurant options on the Grand Fiesta Americano property. It's an outdoor seating setup with a huge canopy covering the deck to provide shade to diners. We had breakfast, lunch, and dinner here during our stay. The food is not as tasty as other restaurants on the resort -- but it does do the trick. We had the all inclusive bracelet so ordered new items during each visit. I will share that the tuna poke for lunch is really good. The breakfast spread is not as big as the other restaurant at the front of the property. Although, the views are nice because you get front row seats to watching the ocean while you eat.

Crispy shrimp

Great views, and good food, resturant, right on the edge of the beach, asian fusion theme. The food we tryed was very good. Service was very good. Wait staff wear masks and face shields, had the crispy shrimp, and wok beef. Both very good. Portion size was not that big, but i think thats how it is at a all inclusive. Both very favorable, and food was made fast.

Carne asada tacos - no bueno
Alex D.

Although the location of this place is awesome, the food is very average. Reminded me a lot of an airport restaurant. We got the tacos which were mediocre at best, which is a shame considering this is Mexico. I've had tacos that are miles better in NYC and California.

The seafood was incredibly fresh--easily some of the best we've had. Every bite tasted like it came straight from the ocean that day. The drinks were just as impressive, perfectly made and refreshing, pairing so well with the food. What really stood out, though, was the service. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. You can tell they take pride in what they do. If you're on the fence like we were, take the recommendation and go--you won't regret it!

Beautiful atmosphere with lights, plenty of tables, and clean bathrooms. The seafood is so fresh! We ordered the crab meat tostada, aguichiles, ceviche, grilled octopus dinner, garlic shrimp dinner, and fresh grilled fish (Acapulco style) for 2. The dinner plates cakes with a side of rice and steamed mixed vegetables. Everything was so fresh, delicious, tender, and so flavorful. As a group, we couldn't come to a consensus on what each of our favorite dish was. We each had our own favorite. Crab meat was sweet, garlic shrimp was buttery, grilled octopus was so tender, aguichiles was so citrusy... I can go on and on. Ask for fresh tortillas. Also don't skip their margarita. Strong, citrusy, and generous serving. They accept USD or pesos. Also strolling musicians will come by your table asking to play a song. Some will tell you the price up front others will expect a tip at the end.

The waitor was attentive and he brought out complimentary dessert for the table following our meal. You've got a tree growing in the middle of the restaurant, are there going to be some bugs in an open air restaurant, hell yes there is. But who cares, you're in Cabo on vacation, and you just took a scorpion shot at the cantina next door. 10/10 Recommend!

Roasted Grill & Bar was an absolute highlight of our recent trip to Cabo! We planned one evening…read moreout for dinner and landed on Roasted in downtown Cabo, and we hit the jackpot! The evening we dined here it was raining, and while that is normally not significant, Roasted is partially open-air with the middle of the restaurant having no cover, so the rain was pouring in and effectively closed 60% of the place. When we arrived, the hostess and owner were apologetic and offered to rebook us, but we aren't quitters and a little rain does hurt us...but they also had a table near the entrance that was covered, so we decided to take it and enjoy our evening. Best decision ever! We started our evening off with a few cocktails paired with shrimp ceviche, queso fundido with chorizo, guacamole and an assortment of salsas. Once we ate through all this goodness, we tossed in our main courses of short rib, octopus, imperial shrimp and tampequena's. Finally we rounded out our meal with a few desserts consisting of cheesecake, chocolate flan and key lime pie! Everything was cooked to perfection, plated beautifully and absolutely delectable from first to last bite! The tampequena was my order and consisted of flank steak sided with a chile relleno and quesadilla...all of my favorite things as one meal? Sign me up! The desserts were delightful with all of us non-flan people being converted after trying the chocolate flan! Ownership put the desserts and a round of tequila shots on the house due to rain, which is more than they had to do. We were beyond thankful and appreciative. Service was phenomenal as well. Our server, the hostess, owner and food runners were all engaged, friendly and helpful. The space itself is absolutely gorgeous! The lit tree in the middle of the restaurant is a centerpiece and a perfect anchor to the decor and vibe. Overall, Roasted was one of the best dining experiences we have had in a long time, and definitely the best one we had while in Cabo. Do yourself a favor and come here! We definitely know we will be back!

The gorgeous view, the wonderful staff, and the amazing food made each of our meals a magical experience. When my daughter-in-law informed our server that she is allergic to shellfish, he gave her options to some of the menu items (the shrimp was served separately in our order of shrimp Mac & cheese) and assured her that her food was safe. We ordered: Pan Seared Totoaba (fish) - my husband said it was the best fish he's ever had! Catch of the Day - Sea Bass - it was incredible! Red Snapper - my son said it was the best fish he's ever had! Prime Beef Filet - my daughter-in-law said it was the best filet she's ever had. The slices of vermouth-soaked pears were delicious! We shared the Grilled oysters, Mac & Shrimp, Street Corn, and Mashed Potatoes. The only imperfection was the 40+ minute wait for our desserts to arrive. Just as we were thinking about canceling our dessert orders, a manager came to apologize for the delay and comped the cost of our desserts, which were actually so good that we decided it was worth the wait! We had the buffet breakfast at this same restaurant and it was also a 5 star experience!!

Both impressive in taste but think the presentation could be better.. Food 8/10 -Appetizer we had oysters, coming from someone who is extremely picky with oysters I really enjoyed these. -Main entrée had the steak with potato puree. Asked for medium rare, it came out medium. The meat was dense and was not a fan of the sauce they added on top... the fig toppings were nice though. -Side dish we had a lobster mac n cheese. This was thick and creamy. The pasta to lobster ratio was good. -Dessert: tres leches with ice cream. This was 10/10. Im lactose and still ate the ice cream lol. Overall if I were to go again I would just go for a drink ,oysters and a dessert.

We took a taxi to this resort and while there asked how much this place was for a night in the hotel with all inclusive. They said it ranged from $350-500/night. Ouch! This place is a bit far from all of the action in Cabo San Lucas. Don't think I would want to stay so far away from all of the activities and fun, especially the arches. Anyway back to breakfast, we got to the counter and there were 4 hostesses running around in a confused manner with no organization whatsoever. There were people in front of us waiting to be put on the list, and after about 20 minutes we were finally seated. The server asked me what I wanted to drink? So I told him I wanted Mexican hot chocolate. He looked at me like I was speaking Chinese, so I pulled it up on Google and showed it to him. Strange that a Cabo native has never heard of Mexican hot chocolate, it is served in most places in the city restaurants of Cabo. Anyway we proceeded to the buffet and noticed a lot of the popular items weren't being replenished. I came back 4 different times to check and still the same empty plates remained. Food was decent, service was good, the price was only $20/per person. Do not think I would return as the places downtown were much better than this place just didn't have that large of a selection.

Mariscos La Palmita -- Incredible Seafood, Local Favorite & Amazing Value…read more This place came highly recommended, and after visiting, I totally understand why. The restaurant was packed with locals when we went -- always a great sign. Cash only, so come prepared. What We Ordered Chocolate Clams (Cooked) You can choose raw or cooked -- I went with cooked and it was delicious. Very fresh, no fishy smell at all. One thing to note: every seafood dish comes topped with garlic. I'm not a fan of garlic and didn't know ahead of time, so I rinsed it off with hot water -- still amazing. Calamari Fresh, tender, and very well cooked. Seafood Special Combination Fish and squid were excellent. Lobster and shrimp were okay, nothing too special compared to the others. Price & Value The prices here are unbelievably cheap. * 6 chocolate clams = 285 pesos * Waldorf restaurant: 2 clams for $48 USD * Another place we tried: 2 clams for 340 pesos After eating around Cabo, this place clearly stood out for both quality and price. We couldn't even finish everything and packed leftovers back to the hotel. Total bill for all dishes: around $100 USD -- incredible. Overall Huge portions, super fresh seafood, local vibes, and unbeatable value. If you're anywhere near Cabo San Lucas, this spot is a must-visit.

Cash only establishment…read more Really liked the fish ceviche - very fresh and it is quite a large portion. Complimentary chips and salsa. I should have written down what kind of chips they buy, because they were tasty. Very crunchy and really nice corn and toasty flavor. Frozen margarita had really good flavor too. For the mango one, it had mango puree for a base, which I think was much nicer than just flavored water. Garlic grilled shrimp plate was tasty. Shrimp enchilada was ok, but not really what I was expecting. Guess we've been eating Americanized enchiladas this whole time. This dish was a warmed tortilla topped with small shrimp, tomato, and bell peppers.
