Full disclaimer- I don't speak Portuguese, and while the server didn't speak English, she was very patient and knew exactly what I wanted! The husband ordered the roast Pork Sandwich, while I just wanted the roasted pork. I wasn't sure about the portion size, but I knew I didn't want a whole or half a suckling- just SOME! And some we got- the perfect portion that allowed me to take some home to turn into sandes later the pork was so juicy and tender- and the flavor was deep and porky (sorry no other way to describe) the chicharron were crispy and flavorful,too. The waitress also served it with housemaid chips a salad of lettuces, agreed carrots, cabbage and tomatoes, and this incredible pepper sauce that packed a powerful flavorful punch! Thank you for a great experience- and even with the drinks, it was under $30!

So incredibly crispy on the outside, and so tender, juicy, and flavorful in the inside. Forget everything else on the menu. Don't even consider other options. You won't regret it! The service is decent, the ambiance is agreeable, and other menu options might be acceptable, but none of that matters. This is a one-trick pony... it's all about their amazing suckling pig. And it was all quite affordable. We spent 101 Euros on a 4-person meal (1kg suckling pig for three plus one additional chicken entrée, some sides and appetizers, 2 desserts, water, no alcohol).
