It was spotless, and beautifully decorated. A free bottle of water is provided. The bathroom was stocked with everything you will need, including dental kits. The staff are very friendly and courteous. They speak limited English, so there was a lot of Google translation involved. The hotel is on a small street in the heart of Begur, only accessible by walking. We parked our car in a public spot (free) and then walked about 5 minutes with our bags to get here. There are steps to get to the main floor; no ramp or elevator. No assistance was provided to get our luggage up or down. Breakfast is included. It is simple but delicious. Fresh orange juice, tea/coffee, limited selection of cheese and pastries, and of course jamon. I loved the fresh fruits. Overall, great experience and would highly recommend!

I was greeted by a very friendly waiter who told me to sit anywhere. I chose a table outside next to the railing overlooking the sea. I ordered some mussels to start and a fish stew for my main course. I ordered a glass of local dry white wine. The wine and food were outstanding. The waiter took great care of me as I dined alone in this amazing setting. I imagine in high season this place is crazy busy, but on a beautiful March day it was a stunning, tranquil and breathtaking view with delicious food to match.

Located on a hill with views to the sea, the town has old buildings, winding streets, the old church and the mandatory castle -:) The town has lots of good dinning and shopping options (Marcy is a professional and she says the shops are very good). The hotel is just off the square so you can walk every where in town. The hotel has 12 rooms. Our room was nicely decorated and sized for 2. I really liked the black out metal shades (push a button and they slide down). Before you book a room, note that the staff speaks limited English. Unless you speak Spanish, you will need to take the lead on planing activities and where to go to dinner. We enjoyed doing that our selves (we chatted with locals and fellow tourists for recommendations). The hiking it great near by and of course the many beaches - enjoy, we did!

When the Parador de Aiguablava came up, he asked me if I minded that this Hotel was a modern building and not a former Castle or Convent. I admitted that this barracks-like alabaster structure was a little boxy. However, when Gayle and I considered the magnificent Costa Brava views, the superb service, and the surrounding beaches and sights, it doesn't get much better than this. In fact, the only compatible Parador experience on this trip were the amazing Mountain views at their facility in Vielha. Gayle would also go as far to say that she would have given up a day in Barcelona to stay here longer. This modern Parador is a superbly located hotel on the Punta D'es Muts and is surrounded by pine trees overlooking the sea. The Parador maximizes its cliff-side perch with large windows everywhere, including the Restaurant/Breakfast Room, Lounge, various sitting rooms, and even the business meeting area. We spent a lot of time on our room balcony just relaxing and taking in the view. There's also an ocean-side Lounge were we did the same over cocktails. The Parador also operates a separate restaurant and beach in a cove below. However, it was October and that was closed for the season. This is also the perfect place to venture out and enjoy the area's beautiful beaches, cliff walks and explore the coves in a gorgeous natural environment.

It was covered with earth and then the vines returned to their original location. Its a beautiful design that can be partially viewed from the side through glass walls Nice wines. Below boutiqe production levels. So low I was surprised they had wine tastings. Nice guided tour 20E Great olive oil. We left with both wine and oil. Finca Bell-Lloc is truly a special place. It is better known for the winery on the property, a…read morebeautiful recycled steel structure designed by the firm, RCR, that makes it the coolest winery you will ever go to. In addition, the wine is delicious, and uniquely and beautifully packaged. However, few people stay at the farm house when they visit and they are really missing out. The house itself has been thoughtfully and masterfully updated and modernized and has many comforts including some of the most comfortable mattresses I have ever slept on in Europe, high thread-count sheets and pillows, super-plush towels, and beautiful bathtubs. Every detail is in good taste, the house is kept immaculately clean, and the staff is lovely from the groundskeepers, to the host, to the cleaning ladies. Breakfast was delicious and offered local products, some of which they produced themselves. There is a beautiful, and very private, pool to take a dip in at any time. And after breakfast we fed the Iberian pigs on the property breakfast scraps which was a lot of fun. Both the location and the woman managing the property, Lory, made our trip to Catalonia and the Costa Brava. We had such a great time hanging out and Lory's recommendations were incredible. The beaches she suggested were the cleanest, least touristy, and most picturesque I've ever been to in the Mediterranean, and I've been to some incredible beaches. She made reservations for us at incredible restaurants, places that were small, used food from their own gardens and local artisans, and off-the-radar spots no visitor could ever find on their own. Again, she made our stay there our most favorite place in our month long trip across Spain and France. Lory alone makes staying at Bell-Lloc more than worth it. Thank you Bell-Lloc for a wonderful experience.
