The richness of the liver paired well with the sweetness of the fruit. Seafood curry - Colorful, light and full of great seafood Peanut foam - So good! Light, creamy, nutty. Great way to end a meal. Definitely recommend making a reservation, I found it impressive that the hostess's reservation system was essentially a notebook and pen in this digital age. We did not see much of our waiter, since the restaurant was extremely busy and filled up with diners. Standouts: 1. Razor clams - I'll always get these if I see it on the menu. Cooked in this incredible garlic sauce. 2. Fish and seafood cataplana - delicious, tomato-forward seafood stew; I liked the version that we had the night before more which came with rice and was more filling. But this was basically a never-ending bowl of fish, clams, mussels, and shrimp. Add to that the fact that the restaurant like most in Porto did not have A/C and I emerged feeling like I had been sitting in a sauna. Skipped dessert; I had my eye on the Weeel! froyo truck parked outside. One more nit - the metal chairs are not comfortable at all for sitting a long time in.

The space is divided in three, with an indoor dining area, an enclosed terrace and a bar area. We sat in the enclosed terrace on a lovely night and our service was excellent. Some creative and well-crafted cocktails, classics, and an excellent wine menu are offered. The bartender was awesome and even made a special request Lemon Drop for my wife. The food was equally creative and delicious. As beautiful to look at as well as to consume! Foie Gras was unexpectedly presented and delivered on flavor. As a note, it paired perfectly with their Last Night Bourbon cocktail! Salmon Civiche was fresh and complex with layers of flavors. Wild Boar Lasagna was fantastic, and the Beetroot, Pistachio and Straciatella Ravioli was delicious but probably not for everyone. I loved it, but it was loaded with whole Pistachios, and raw beetroot slices. Odd texture, but still good. Portions were huge and no room for dessert. We would probably share a couple plates on a return visit, but will definitely be back!

My husband had the Iberian pork and really enjoyed it, and I absolutely loved my octopus. It was probably some of the best I have ever had. For dessert we had cheesecake and it was just as divine. If you want a dinner you won't forget anytime soon, definitely check out this place.

Nice vibes...but beware…read more I have dined at Grigio during the multiple times I have visited Porto. I typically order the same thing and it usually ranges from decent to very good. However, I forgot that they are tricky. Upon being seated, they will bring a small basket of bread (three half slices of toast and a couple oversized thin crackers). They call this "Couvert". They will stand there with the bread and say something like "I have some bread for you" or "Would you like some bread?" They do not mention the charge of €3.50, but it is on the menu to order. But typically, you have yet to look at the menu to see it on there by the time it is presented to you. So who knows how many people have been fooled by this. Instead of letting people order a starter if they want, they are brought this bread by default. During my most recent visit, I noticed a couple who picked up a tip left on their table because they were unaware of the charge when they got their final bill. I will most likely never dine there again. But let this be a warning to those visiting Porto who decide to dine there. The pizza is good, but there is better in the area. My review is heavily weighted towards a 3 due to how they conduct their business.

Nothing was bad, and the prices were absolutely outstanding! The food wasn't typical portugese, which is a nice break from the constant portugese standard fare which is served throughout Porto and the country. It is instead this creative, french-ified, Portugese fare that will never bore you, but may not be absolutely stunning at every turn. However there will be moments when you are stunned. The service was unique and interesting - it was also personal, but you can't call it fancy or polished. I liked it better the way it was, but if you're going with your fancy grandma she might be disappointed. The wines are really good and well priced, though we might have had too much, which is always a problem I have in Portugal. They have great recommendations, or you can just buy bottles. My favorite dish was the over sized gnocchi - i've never seen anything like it in my life. The vegetable tartare with an egg yolk was also great. I liked it all, but some things didn't hit as hard as others. We might be back, we'll definitely recommend. Don't expect a michelin starred dining experience, but also don't expect michelin starred prices.
