I tried the Prensado de Cochinillo "Bon Estar 50" which is Roasted Suckling Pig. I'm not sure what the 50 meant and the dish was not what I was expecting, thinking it would be more like a Lechon with crispy skin. Instead it came in a pastry puff shell. Paletina de Codero Asada a Baja Tempuratura, Roast Shoulder of Lamb was nice and tender. As always, the Tiramisu dessert is a highlight. It comes in a jar, and so rich and creamy! When I ordered the dessert first, our waiter said he had to check if that could be done. They allowed it but I thought it was weird that he had to ask. We ordered the homemade catalan crema (creme brulee) based on their recommendation and it was delicious. Cole had the chocolate coolant and he enjoyed it. We ordered the Paella con mariscos for (2) and that was enough for the three of us. We also ordered (2) portions of bread. The bread order came with a whole tomato and a whole garlic clove unpeeled. I had never been served that way but "when in Rome". I cut that tomatoes, crushed the garlic, added olive oil salt n pepper and made us a little dip for the bread. When paella came out I was surprised that the shellfish did not come with the shell. The flavor of the paella was really good. We squeezed lemon on top and had an enjoyable meal. Others had ordered a lasagna, only to be informed, 15 minutes later, lasagna wasn't on today. The alternative English Breakfast took about 45min to appear on their table. It was the size of an airplane meal so why it too that long is a mystery to me. The sangria was very nice! But after ordering a second round we had to wait quite a bit for a simple drink (just pour it from a jug and bring it over). We were actually rather surprised that it even arrived before we decided it was time to move on. They have a small menu so you'd expect the food quality to be very consistent and the wait wouldn't be too long. Neither were the case. There were no abnormalities to account for the long waits, like extremely busy (only four tables occupied). Good thing we weren't on any kind of schedule as we for sure would not have been able to keep it. This place has enough positive points to get a higher rating, if only more effort was put into it.
