My Wife and I were hungry and walked in. I asked to see a Menu and the Oldest man present told me it was outside, I asked to look at the menu inside the building; Again the Oldest man present grunted out directions "You sit at a table, then you can look at a menu". At that point, I was not having any kind of warm and fuzzy sensations from this Waitstaff whom acted like Hitmen for a Gangster. However, i tried to a keep an open mind an consider that this was my first time to Paris... so against my instinctive feeling to head out the door, we stayed for the absolute worst Indian Lunch that I ever tried to choke down. The Chai tea was poorly prepared and tasted more like dishwater than the elixir it was supposed to be. We ordered the Chicken Vindaloo; this chicken itself had a grainy quality to it, as if it came directly out of a can - most definitely not fresh! The Lentil soup was probably the best part of the whole lunch, which I would rate 6/10 on its own merit, apart from this awful ensemble of dishes. This was the worst Indian food that I have ever tasted since 1999, when I started to be exposed to this very fine style of food. Additionally, it was WAAAAYYYY OVERPRICED!!! If I could give a "0 out of 5 stars", I would do so! This place does not enjoy the privilege of getting "1 out of 5 stars"!!! Someone should do the public a favor and close this place down right now!!! read more
