The shish-taouk was good but I'll be honest, I've had better and if I'll come back it'll be for the calamari and maybe something else... perhaps the shwarma? The service was quick, so ideal for lunch. The price-tag was a little higher than expected but calamari isn't cheap... but worth the cost.

Tucked in a little corner lives one of the best salad I've ever had in a restaurant. The Artsakh salad was creamy and smoky - unexpectedly delicious. Their BBQ was definitely up there. Unfortunately three of the items we wanted to try were not available (shrimp, brussel sprouts and baklava ice cream), so we had hummus, hummus with meat, and cauliflower, all excellent. Then came the two orders of kibbeh balls. These were the worst we have ever had. The kibbeh balls were overcooked and dry, so much so that we couldn't cut them with a knife or hold them with a fork. This left a bad taste in everyone's mouth. Despite returning them, the owner agreed to not charge us for only one of the orders. Still, we had to pay for an order that we couldn't eat. Our main meal, grilled chicken and beef brochette, was dry and very overcooked. Another big disappointment. For desert, we had the Kanafeh with Pistachio Cream, and that was addictive and a great way to end an average meal. Will not be returning, except for coffee and desert.

The truffle pasta was okay also and the risotto dish came with a big piece of Osso bucco, was not expecting to have a big piece of Osso bucco, I thought it would be bone off. I had ordered an espresso martini with my dessert but they had forgotten to put khalua in it and it taste horrible, when I told the waiter about it he was doubting me on why I wanted to return the drink back but then he realized that it was the khalua that was missing in the drink, he brought me khalua in a glass so I can mix it in my drink. This place seemed to be more of a place for groups, they had private rooms. If you are celebrating a birthday party or a big get together in Laval with Italian type of food, I think it's a good choice.
