Unfortunately, it has been a few weeks since my wife and I were at Son during our honeymoon, so my memory of this meal has faded a bit. However, I was smart enough to take a picture of the menu and also remember that we loved this meal.
We came for lunch since their lunch menu is more reasonably priced than their dinner menu. Good tip - if you want to eat at a Michelin rated restaurant, go during lunch. You'll eat just as well and pay significantly less.
The restaurant is a pleasure to sit in - beautifully decorated with a warm and inviting atmosphere. I ordered their their prix-fix menu dejuner, which started with a lentil salad in a vinagrette dressing, pickled onions, and some shaved pork. Only problem was there wasn't enough of it. For an entree I ordered the curry pork filet mignon. Again, there wasn't enough of it. And I don't mean they serve tiny portions - these were regular, human, healthy sized portions. I just mean I wanted a lot more and was disappointed when I finished it. The food was delicious.
I don't remember what dessert was but it was some kind of ice cream with activated charcoal or something. It was not something I would ever order but I loved it.
Wine was wonderful but it was a Bordeaux so of course it was wonderful.
Perfect meal. read more
