Stumbled upon this restaurant by random because we had walked by on our way to another restaurant which happened to be closed. There were several different set options - my brother opted for a starter, soup, & entree while I got the starter, entree, & dessert. Pricing was pretty reasonable for Switzerland. We each got a chicken satay w/ curry as a welcome from the kitchen and the chicken was so tender. Next up was beef tartare with some arugula and buttered toast - this was slightly more wet than the beef tartare that I'm accustomed to but was still delicious. The soup was Asian coconut pumpkin soup (coconut flavor was much stronger than pumpkin) with a spring roll which was more like a very long egg roll filled with glass noodles. For entrees, I got the cordon rouge in which the meat was very tender and the outside coating had a nice crispy breading to it. It came with some fries that reminded me of the potato stick snack from the US, very thin and crispy. My brother had the escalope du cerf aux cepes - the steak was indeed cut very finely and seasoned well. Dessert was crème brûlée (probably one of the best I've had) and a complimentary berry yoghurt w/ yuzu and a chocolate truffle with Bailey. We received excellent service to top it off - the staff was very attentive and always checked in on us. We were happy to randomly find this establishment and will definitely recommend it to others visiting Lucerne! read more
