As I walk in, the nice lady behind the counter welcomed me very friendly and after knowing that it was my first time in a Haitian restaurant, she recommended the Griot plate. I ordered it for take out, there's no dining in, so everything is take out. After I sat down, I started eating this delicious plate...what a delicacy...everything was done perfectly. The Griot was fried but not too crispy, it was tender and juicy on the inside, perfect to be douzed with the sauce that come on the side. There was plizki as well....the rice was moist, well seasoned and plentiful. The fried plantain was still crispy to the bite... Everything top notch, one of my best meals during my trip to Montreal....

We also had fried green plantain, which was fried to golden yellow perfection and a spinach like medley with crab, shrimp and beef mixed in. While the mains were great, the meats in the appetizer platter were my favourite! The restaurant is small and doesn't seat many; however, it doesn't feel crammed. The space is filled with many Haitian artifacts, giving it a very cultural feel. Beside the food and space, what I loved most were the people working there.
