I've been back a dozen times since then. I usually order the lambi, which comes with a mountain of riz collé, fried plantains, pasta salad and pikliz (like all the other food). It's so flavorful and extremely worth it. It's best to go before the dinner rush when there's a fresh batch of food (depends on what you order).

You had a choice of griot (bite-sized pieces of fried pork), turkey, chicen and Haitian poutine (made with griot). After tasting the griot, I opted for the Haitian poutine and it was your standard fare with some added griot. Not bad. Next came the turkey, which consisted of turkey drumstick slices with a side order or either rice or fried plantain. The turkey was tender and tasty and the plantain was nice and crisp. Never tried their regular menu items, but this place is worth a visit.

The vegetables and everythingfit the curry so well especially the chicpea. I do wish the carrots were a little softer to balance with the rest of the veggies. The goat is extra but it is worth getting and ties the whole meal together. It was soft and easy to eat not too chewy but a good texture. We got it to go one time and one time when just opened. I do have to say the to go time was better in my opinion.

I ordered the Smoked Brisket and it brought me back to my favorite Texas BBQ! Juicy, smokey, fatty (in a good way) and a big 1/2 pound (or more!) portion. Came with classic chili bowl, coleslaw, brioche bun, and BBQ sauce. 10/10. $23 felt like a solid price for so much food, and now I'm full all-day and feeling healthy! I also had some fried Plantains from the Paul Toussaint kiosk and they were delicious! -- came with spicy, sweet, vinegar and coleslaw sauce and fresh mayo. The Pineapple juice was fresh and yummy too. Highly recommend both places (they are right next to each other in the Timeout Market)!

The place is very small, just one table that will sit 2-3 people and about 5-6 high stools, where you can sit and eat by the window. I arrived and after looking at the menu, I ordered the fried pork (Griot porc) with rice and beans, fried plantains, salad and the Pikliz..it was about $16.75 for the full meal. The plate was big...lots of rice, chunks of fried pork and sides....the pork was a bit on the dry side, so I poured some of the sauce on it....the rice and beans was really good. The fried plantains were not hot nor crunchy/crispy. Not a fan. The salad was fresh. Overall not a bad choice if you are in this part of town but not my favorite Haitian spot.....
