Ordered the samosas, palak paneer, chicken tikka masala and onion kulcha. All the food was tasty and finally, my mouth savoring in delight, a bit of spice was perceived by my palette. Spice. The ingredient nearly nonexistent in most German based restaurants regardless of cuisine. I was a happy man as I stuffed my doughy body full of curries and bread. Nice touch: they gave us a free taste of the rice pudding (kheer) dessert. These are the kinds of customer service gestures that makes one a repeat customer :)

The buffet consisted of two different chicken dishes, one very spicy and the other rather mild, palak, dal, papadoms, and two types of rice. The buffet is not huge, but I was rather grateful for that. Every dish was exceptional and made for a very enjoyable lunch. Despite being run by Sri Lankans, they do carry dishes from all over India, as well as some Sri Lankan specialties and a few Pakistani ones. I don't believe there is any halal meet, however (not 100% on that). They also don't serve alcohol. I can't wait to get back to this place. More recently as I've been switching back to my old vegetarian ways, I've been getting the channa aloo vegetarian thali. It costs 4,90 Euros. And seriously, the portion is MASSIVE. It also comes with a fresh raita and side of lentils and huge portion of rice. Sometimes I order naan, but not too much recently as the thali in itself is so filling. The chicken dishes are only 1 Euro more than the veggie ones. The food is no frills and so good for its price. While it may be catering a bit more to the German market, to see so many Indians eating here is refreshing and tells one that the food is of high quality and standards. I recently figured out that this was the same place by asking the guys running the truck. They even gave me a menu indicating differences between the locations and hours and what not. The naan and my friend's chickpeas were my favorite items but everything was pretty tasty. The service was friendly and quick enough - I have no complaints.
