I assumed our server was new based on his lack of confidence/knowledge but later overheard him say he had worked there 6 months. We had to remind him of things we ordered a couple of times. During the meal he dropped an entire stack of glass plates on the back of mine and my daughters chairs. Glass and food went everywhere but no one seemed concerned and no one checked to see if we had been injured. Luckily we weren't hurt. The biggest problem came at the end of the meal when we went to pay we were told they did not accept credit cards. We all felt this was not true and also did not have 100 euros with us. My husband was told go down to the bank. It's about 100 meters. We had no other choice and had to withdraw the money with an exchange rate fee of almost $30.
