Or you may have chosen to eat at a poorly advertised dry cleaners, and end up embarrassing your girlfriend and the owners of the establishment. Normally though, my method serves me well more often than not. Aphrodite was one of the occasions when it didn't so much. I found the food a little bland and uninspiring. However, I have since discovered that it may be because I don't like Greek food. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great though, so if Greek cuisine is more your thing, you'll have a great time.

Business is not as brisk as it used to be a few years ago. There are now too many restaurants and takeaways doing the same thing, providing too much competition along the City Road. Troy was one of the first, and thankfully they haven't lost the passion for what they do. The have takeaway food as you would expect and some interesting items on the menu. I'm always impressed to see the food I ordered be prepared and cooked in the front of house. The doner kebab is exactly like any you'd find down the street but competes well with Adonis kebab takeaway.
