The food was excellent and the restaurant itself was beautiful, with great decorations from the country. Unfortunately, the restaurant was severely understaffed. We were smart to make a reservation at 7, and we were treated to excellent service, being the only customers at that time. Our drinks and food came quite quickly. However, as soon as 7 more tables were filled the one employee was completely overwhelmed and we didn't see him again. After 40min of waiting with empty plates we had to leave money on the table and left, even though we were supposed to get dessert with our meal. Great food, but definitely not a quick bite!

As I walked away someone opened the door. They were very friendly and said that because they don't have much business you need to call them in advance. I lived in Côte d'Ivoire for nearly 3 years so was excited to try the food. That same evening I called to make a reservation for the next day. Nobody answered. I tried this two more times... still didn't work. What to do... I won't go begging for food when there are two delicious Senegalese restaurants right up the street.
