We were greeted warmly by the host and staff and quickly presented with a broad array of foods and sauces from the mother country. Host and staff took time to explain each item as well as the sauces that could be used to further enhance the food items. I also tried the ginger juice. The ginger juice was very strong almost like pepper. I also tried the fried plantains, they were fried to perfection with a nice sweet taste. Then I tried the cod and egg plant accras. They were fried to perfection as well. I also had the beef pastel and the fish pastel. When I first saw them they reminded me of mini empanadas, they were very flavorful. I dipped the pastels in a sauce made with tomatoes and onions which added extra flavor. Everything I tried was very flavorful and well prepared. If you are ever in Lyon France and have a taste for West Africa food or fresh juice check this place out you will not be disappointed!
