It's a really nice spot that we accidentally discovered.
We stopped there on the way back from a hike, after being directed by a local, given a lot of places were closed at the time due to the summer vacations.
While it looked a bit too big and artificial to be authentic, the appearances were misleading, and it was actually a really great place. We were able to grab a seat pretty fast and enjoy the selection of high-quality beers (Hirsch) and cocktails they had available.
The food that came shortly after was great - from the baked pork shoulder to spätzle, the food was simple, but filling and highly enjoyable. Both the external terrace and the internal sitting space are tastefully decorated and are quite relaxing. The staff is friendly and the overall impression of being deep in the mountains was actually extremely relaxing.
It's a great location - we would be glad to stop there again in the future and I can but recommend it if you are in the region for a hike already. read more
