My husband and I ate here on two separate occasions while staying in Reus because they served food all day and we prefer to eat dinner on the earlier side (like early bird special early), and most restaurants open at 8:00 pm. Another advantage is that we were able to bring our dogs with us and eat in their outdoor eating area, which had heat lamps.
We largely ordered the same dishes both nights. Our experience the first night was much better because the meat was cooked better but service was better as well. The dish we enjoyed the most was La Press fried artichokes. They were amazing both nights: crispy, salty, and delicious. The melted provolone was great both nights as well.
We tried two different types of chicken nuggets, mainly because my dog Felix loves them. We had a plain version of "nuggetos" the first night and teriyaki the second. He went bonkers for both. I preferred the teriyaki version.
I had the duck both nights. It was served with a lovely Pedro Ximenez sauce. The duck was cooked much better the first night and it was overcooked the second.
My husband had the steak with a delicious foie cream sauce the first night and opted for the lamb shoulder the second night. Although he liked the lamb, it was somewhat fatty.
Prices are unbelievably reasonable. All of our food with a couple of beers was less than 60 euros. It has to be one of the best bargains in Europe. read more
