If you are in Barcelona and are a beer lover, you should take the time to visit this place, is not close, though. So be prepared. The trip consists of train to Mataro (45 min from Barcelona Plaza Catalunya) and once in Mataro you can walk (15 minutes) or take a taxi (aprox 8 euros). Okay mixed review here…read more First, the patatas bravas here we're the best I had while in Spain! The serving size was great for sharing or for a really hungry person. The potatoes were perfectly crispy on the outside and whatever the sauce was that topped them was delicious. Wish I went back and had them again! The croquettes on the other hand were not my favorite, I had hoped to have some meat stuffing on the inside but I believe they were out. So we opted to have it with cheese and the cheese was very interesting, very tangy and liquidy so it was optimal to eat it in one bite, but the cheese was so rich. Quattros is located in a great area of Tarragona, has good amount of outdoor seating, and you can tell it's popular by how it fills up. Would come back, just wouldn't recommend the croquettes solely with cheese.
