Salou is a very lively touristy beach town and the patio cafes can tend to be loud, not just because of the crowds but also because many are right next to the street and there tends to be a lot of traffic noise. Café del Far is an escape from the tourists and the traffic noise. The owners are from Argentina and are super friendly. I was on vacation with my daughter and we came back a second night and were treated to a couple of free shots. They go out of their way to make sure your experience is enjoyable. The pizza is a good escape from the same ole tapas you get all over Spain it seems like. Highly recommended and I would definitely return again next time I'm in the area.

Other tables received their food before we received ours. It took about one hour to receive our food. They have an open kitchen which allowed us to see one of the chefs wiping his nose while preparing food. You may want to try someplace else.
