We started with delectable salads. Mine had goat cheese and bacon which was not our usual American bacon and my husband had smoked fish with his salad. I was not a fan of the bacon, too fatty for me but that was not a problem as I just pushed it to the side. For our main dishes he had ravioli with frogs legs which he exclaimed to be delicious. I had fillet of beef with wonderful vegetables and mushrooms potatoes and a lovely sauce with peppercorns. He had poached pears for dessert which came with a little chocolate gelato and filled with a wonderful caramel sauce and whipped cream on the side. We were served by the owner of the restaurant who seemed to be the only one waiting the tables ... there seem to be about 30 or so diners and she handled everyone with ease and grace. We were lucky to have made reservations as she filled up quickly. On a side note, I saw an elderly woman who came in to dine and she was told the restaurant was full.. after some conversation I saw the owner open up a new table and find a spot just so this lovely elderly woman would have a place to eat...as the song goes, All you need is love! this is one place in Die to have stone-baked pizza, there is a very big choice of interesting…read moretoppings. prices are reasonable. the place is geared towards take-away. there are no tables to sit and eat. one of the pizzas we had here was with egg. it turned out the egg was still mostly liquid. other than that the pizzas were pretty good.
