This is a nice setting for a cafe society relaxing with a beer or glass of wine, but just pass up eating here. There is paying a premium for good food and there is getting ripped off. This place is a rip off I'm sad to say. I rode my bike by a few weeks ago and thought it was a good destination place to bring my new wife, so we did. Yikes! The owner is a real cheap skate. For sixty euro we had to share a average portion of french fries and the salmon was an appetizer size - two big postage stamps. If he could have manned up for another 1.50 euro he could have made it worth while. The soup was a real comedy. He called it grandma's vegetable soup but I'm pretty sure it came right out of a can. The waiter didn't bother to ask if we wanted bread with our soup and it looked good going to the other tables. The beer was good and would have been better if the waitress had let it sit a minute and let the foam die to something like a fifth of the glass rather than a third or quarter. All in all, this place sucked for the price. My wife agreed. She says she even knows how to pour beer. This is my first post on yelp and yes I travel around the world - four continents in the past six months. I hope the owner reads this and improves this place. One more thing. We were there in the afternoon and they were playing loud salsa and not very good salsa at that - we're from South Florida so we know. Anyway, for a few hours they had no business in the bar and when someone did go in, they turned the music off. It was bad. But I was glad that the music was sacked. I'll probably ride by this place again but I won't be stopping unless I'm really thirsty for a beer. read more
