Twice now I have requested to use the locker in the morning and at 4:45 pm it still hasn't been done. The first time it was still behind the counter at the RX Pick up and the employee gave it to me. The second time the employee looked but said it had gone to the pharmacist area (RX request drop off) and I would have to ask them for it. The line was very long and when I got to the counter the employee looked around and found my RX. It was in a bag that was in a box with other bags of RX waiting to be put in the lockers. She couldn't give it to me so I had to wait while she filled the lockers and sent me the locker code. The lockers are a good idea, but they should specify that they won't be available on the same day.

The cutest beaded summer bag with 2 lemons and bamboo handles caught my attention. Unlike some of the gaudier bags in this style, this particular bag was subtle, with just two lemons on a sand colored, beaded background. it's sophisticated and perfect for an upcoming trip to Italy in the fall, but no way I could wait until them I ripped the tags off in the parking lot and used it that night! My friends, the waitress, and another person at the restaurant complimented it! The bag is unique, stylish, and quite the "find" for $49. The clothing racks were full of many newer spring styles And I spent a lot of time in the dressing room trying on various outfits. So many of them worked, but I had to do a catch and release on a few because I have been buying a lot of clothes lately. I bought a beautiful white boho cropped spring sweater and a pair of wide legged pants, in a fun, beachy print, to go with. Found a two piece set in a light caramel color, perfect to wear in several seasons. The pants are fitted up top, but looser in the legs and paired perfectly with the crocheted knit top in the identical color. This outfit and the purse with lemons are definitely coming on my trip! Also bought a pretty pink athletic jacket and wore it immediately on my walk the next evening. The woman who was managing the dressing room was friendly and super helpful when I needed other sizes. It's such a pain to get dressed and go back out on the floor, so when she offered to bring me a different size, I was so grateful. My only complaint was they had a selection of maxi dresses hung on a low rack so all the bottoms were filthy. I'm not buying anything that is dirty and I'm unsure if it will wash clean. Definitely an area of improvement for the management. They didn't have as many food items as usual, and area I like to peruse for pantry items, but the housewares was completely stocked, as was the bedding and bath area. Lots of fabulous finds! Oh, and I guarded my cart because a friend told me that when she went to use the restroom, her cart went missing and she and the staff never found it. LOL. Such as in the electronics section. While there's a huge variety, I feel like it's a few dollars more than other places. Some keychains and that type of items were a bit more than Daiso, for example. Danette was the cake designer for my son's 5th bday cake (Cuphead theme) which was a full sheet! It was a big project and she was amazing to work with. My guests also commented about how moist and delicious the cakes were which is really what I care most about with cakes as I loveee a good moist cake. I had already checked online ordering, which could only guarantee the cake at some unspecified time on Saturday, so I specifically called to make sure I could have the inscription done earlier. The woman I spoke with (in the bakery department) told me it was fine to come in today (Thursday, Sept. 10) and that she would add the inscription. Great! I drove over. When I arrived at 3 p.m., however, the bakery counter was empty. An employee from the neighboring sushi counter went to find someone for me. After I waited a full 10 minutes, she returned and told me that the person who does the cake writing had "left at 2." No one mentioned a 2 p.m. cutoff when I called. I was specifically told to come in, so I made the trip in good faith, waited at an unattended counter, and ultimately left without the service I had called ahead to arrange! Now I'm stuck writing "Happy Birthday" on the cake myself with a tube of grocery-store icing, when the entire reason I called ahead was to have it done professionally. I have a suggestion! If someone asks, how about the bakery staff give customers accurate information about when cake inscriptions are available! Simply telling me, "Be sure to come before 2 p.m." would have prevented the entire problem, and a very frustrating experience for a longtime customer.
