Well this place has it all. I shop here a few times a year. They sell everything from food, snacks, cutlery... you name it. This place is for bulk shopping only. They also have an enormous wall in cooler where they sell fresh seafood, cheese & meats. Bring a coat, it's freezing in there. read more

The woman sitting at the entrance was the same person who warned me about my shoes before. Today, I noticed that several customers were wearing sandals, but she did not say anything to them. I understand that the store has safety rules, but the rules should be applied equally to everyone. It feels unfair when some customers are warned while others are allowed to enter wearing the same type of shoes.! read more

It's absolutely filthy in there. There's no selection. The seafood department isn't disgrace. It's really sad how far this place is fallen.

They have everything in bulk and the prices are fantastic. I went crazy when I saw the fresh seafood boy did I buy a lot. I'll be back when I have another party or event. Don't shop anywhere else. This is the place to go for food and parties. read more

I was lucky today but the next person may not. Nearly lost my life by a 20mph forklift driver driving fast beeping the horn going down the isles very fast. I stepped out of the refrigeration area and the driver slammed on the break to avoid hitting me directly on my left side! I was 4 inches from be seriously injured or killed. Never said sorry just kept going. I spoke to the manager and pointed him out. Said he would speak to him. Home depot has killed many guests from the same thing. Now home depot closes off the isle when working. I would have never imagined going there today that I may have been dead or injured!! Before this a woman almost got hit and she had to run back to let the other forklift driver pass as he hit his horn over and over and over! I am also going to file a complaint with the latest company. read more

Review for Restaurant Depot - 1470 W Copans Rd, Pompano Beach, FL I've visited this location many times over the years, but today I had a disappointing experience that I feel compelled to share. For the first time, my wife needed to use the restroom--and what she found was unacceptable for a business that supplies food to local restaurants. The restroom was extremely dirty, poorly maintained, and unhygienic. Toilets were broken, and the overall condition showed a clear lack of upkeep. It's hard to believe that a company of this size hasn't addressed such a basic but critical issue. Clean restrooms are not just a courtesy--they are a health and safety standard, especially in a food-related environment. It's surprising that the health department hasn't inspected this location recently. I strongly urge management to take immediate action: hire professional plumbers, improve sanitation protocols, and ensure the facilities meet the standards expected of a food supplier. Restaurant Depot has the resources to do better. Cleanliness should never be optional--especially when serving the restaurant industry. read more

I have shopped at other restaurant depot locations and they usually clean and organized. But, this place here is nasty. I can't believe that the city's health department has shut this place down. It smells like a garbage dump station. It's disgusting. read more

So usually I get all my bulk buying from Costco/ BJ's. But since Restaurant Depot was doing temporary day passes for the public, I thought it was a great idea to get some bulk buying from here as well. There was no line outside to get in due to Covid 19 situation but check out did take a long time. And the other customers were not social distancing while waiting in line. So yes you will get impatient people who don't understand to stay alittle far from others. Anyways, this place is to be if you want a lot of things. Working remotely, I've been juicing everyday so I loved they had carrots, apples, oranges etc. basically whatever veggies and fruits I had in my list I was able to purchase. But in order to get such huge quantities I made sure my fridge was pretty much empty before going shopping. Also I really appreciate they have some halal frozen options like chicken tenders/nuggets etc. I eat only halal meat so this was a bonus for me to get some frozen snacks for Ramadan time. Overall a good shopping experience. ~ read more

If you want your day ruined, shop here. Or if you are just in a mission to find the worst customer service this should be top of your list to check out. The people driving the fork lifts are manic, I once found someone sleeping in the bay behind a box of togo cups. The carts should just be picked up and used for scrap Metal, if you have strawberries or tomatoes be sure to secure them I had to pick up two boxes of the floor in the store and and again in the parking lot cause the carts shake so bad.. Everything is disorganized, and if you haven't gotten frustrated while shopping... The check out process is a nightmare. It always is but today's experience has me venting on Yelp in the parking lot. After the cashier Scolded me for not having my items organized she proceeded to talk about how she needed to go on break and huff and puffed all while talking rudely to her manager and whipped me in the eye with her long braids while she bent down to count something on my cart. I went and grabbed a box from outside to reorganize my items and sloppily tossed my small items in the box and threw a bag of oysters on top of my produce (cross contamination) even after I told her I would handle repacking the items she set to the side I wish i would have gotten her name but it was register 5 on weds Feb 16th around 3:00. She has long thin braids and big thick lashes that would have any Disney character jealous. I got a text in the process that I no longer needed something on my cart but purchased it anyways just to return it so I could get out of that nightmare line. The ONLY SAVING GRACE TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS ONE MAN I BELIEVE NAMED DARIUS WHO GOT PROMOTED TO MANAGER FROM SEAFOOD DAN IN PRODUCE AND BREON IN SEAFOOD The rest on the place needs to clean shop on employees and have a do over! Thank you for coming to my bitch talk, And scene! read more

1 star Daryl Croston is a awful manager. Very rude and unprofessional. Ask him to help find a product, show no interest in help with the matter and just walk way. Do better Restaurant Depot. Very disappointed with Restaurant depot corporation. Just reply a standard answer for everyone that tell you how your company is been operating. read more

NOTE: Restaurant Depot is not open to the general public, but anyone who operates a business or non-profit and uses commercial foodservice products qualifies to open a free membership account. It is just amazing place to shop! You will find the majority of all the food, condiments, fish and meats that you need to feed an army. The quantities are very large but that translate to very low price point per item Remember this is NOT a Costco, Sam's Club or BJ's! This is where the majority of all the local restaurants get their supplies from. THE RULES: On your first visit you need to show a valid reseller's permit (business license) or tax-exempt certificate to qualify. Meaning, if you have a Company just bring in your "DR-13" or sign-up online. Then you will receive a membership card good for anyone to use that is associated with your business. You cannot go wrong on shopping here. Cheers! read more

Restaurant Depot - Wholesale Stores Near Me - Pompano Beach, Florida

I come here at least three times a week I have yet to have a bad experience. Every employee I've came across has been the most helpful I've even become friends with the forklift drivers they know me on site and what I'm looking for. Absolutely the best place I've shopped. Yes it's chaotic at times, but there is a method to this madness. Thank you management & ALL team members! read more

I hate coming here so much, but it has alot of things we can't get for the same price. I understand they have a job to get done, but The fork loft drivers are maniacs. Half the time I ask for something to be brought down, no one comes. Its extremely messy and disorganized, the carts are crap and sparsely available. Cashiers are grumpy, which is understandable considering how many pieces of crap shop here. read more

The Cashier Nikitha unbelievable lazy . She ask me as the customer to lift or flip thing for her to scan. I don't mind to help if it too heavy or it way at the bottom of the cart. But this lady clearly lazy as hell even to pull the cart forward she doesn't want to do it! Common restaurant depot at Pompano, you can hire someone better than this. She is a toxic employee. I feel sorry for other worker who working hard here. read more

Wow. You have to value saving a couple bucks over your sanity to survive this place. It's dirty, insanely busy on Saturdays and employees are impossible to identify. I asked where a mop head was, the First Employee sent me to the wrong side of the store... the second employee said she didn't know and the last one sent me to the wrong isle. The line to check out was 5 people long and took 20 minutes. The cashier couldn't be bothered to say hi or even the total to me. Sad really, the prices are good read more

Got to go as a guest. This place is like Disney for someone who loves to cook. No its more like Costco on steroids. This first trip was purely to accompany my buddy but I will beg to return. There is everything from cookware to meats to seafood, Picked up some really inexpensive commercial grade kitchen items. Next time I will concentrate on seafood, vegetables, meat etc. Oh yeah, there were whole lambs hanging in the meat section. That was a shocker. read more

As a restaurant owner, I have been shopping here for the past 14 years. I love the selection and the employees are great (well, after 14 years, and getting to know them) They pretty much have all you need if you want to cook. My only complaint is how many non restaurant people shop here...they browse like its Costco and take forever at the cash register. For someone who needs to get in and out to run back to their biz, they really are a PIMA read more

Ive been coming to Restaurant Depot for three months now. Been working with Charles in the Equipment Department for those three months. He has helped me redesign my new restaurant (after a so called designer) created the concept. Charles has made many changes and suggested several different pieces of equipment that has saved me thousands. Once I'm ready to pull the trigger this guy has my business. I fully recommend Restaurant Depot and his department for your equipment needs.. read more

Poor service, long lines to checkout. All U Boats (carts)in terrible condition - wheels broken. People always parked in disabled spots. Place is excellent, fresh seafood lots of beef cuts every day necessary dry goods fast in and out

Oh my god is all I have to say about this location. I am very used to the restaurant depot in Davie and this is no where close. Every single isle in this location is so tight its uncomfortable. Try wheeling 20 cases of ketchup through 4ft wide isles while maneuvering a crappy cart around someone else with an equally crappy cart. It's ridiculous this place is even allowed to have that much product in such a small area. The produce section is equally as horrible. Everything is disorganized and so difficult to find. I love the restaurant depot in Davie and I could honestly say I would never go back to the one in pompano. The stress is just wearing off 3 days later. Take the extra drive to Davie trust me! read more

Instead of purchasing items for my new store through Amazon, I decided to give Restaurant Depot a shot. If you need bulk food items - this would be your spot. In my case we are using all organic produce so only plasticware & equipment is what I would purchase from them however their prices are higher then what you can find online. I'll stick with Amazon Prime read more

It's super cold in the freezer section so BRING A JACKET! Good deals buying in bulk. They don't give out much samples like BJs or Costco but they do carry more varieties of frozen foods since it caters to restaurants.
