The take on chicharrón was an amazing entreé, I also had a bit of the squash soup because my friend let me had some, and it was also creamy and packed with flavour. The main dish was the fish and I wasn't a fan, mostly because it didn't taste Peruvian enough? The purple corn sauce was really escarce and I would've loved to have more of it to tie the whole dish together. My friend let me have some of her Ossobucco and that one actually tasted better and the seasoning was unmistakably Peruvian. For dessert we all got the squash custard and it was an incredible way to end the meal, wish the portion had been bigger because it left me wanting for more. Some downsides were that you have to buy bottled water, and that the food took a little longer than expected to come out considering the simplicity of the food. Also, they didn't have any empanadas when we came. The location is fantastic, making it an easy spot to meet up and unwind. From the moment you walk up, the decor feels refreshing and welcoming without trying. One of my favorite features was the front patio seating. There's just something about sitting outside with a glass of wine, good conversation, and people watching in Montreal that makes for a memorable afternoon. While the inside was gorgeous, I prefer outside always. Unfortunately, I don't have any photos to share, but I can definitely speak to the service. The staff were attentive, friendly, and always seemed to appear right when our glasses were getting low, amazing! haha. They helped create a relaxed atmosphere that made it easy to sit, chat, and enjoy each other's conversation.
