We didn't have a reservation (mid-September) but the host was beyond kind on sneaking us in. A little table in the back was perfect for us and I'm eternally grateful for her kindness. This restaurant feels like a home and they treat you like family. We felt very comfortable and eagerly perused the menu. This is a more new-Swiss style offering and we had to be selective in our choice - we both went with the steak (one big, one small). Being used to American steakhouses my wife was less than impressed. However, I found my 300g steal to be wonderfully cooked, tasty (not busting with flavor as it wasn't seasoned with anything), and filling! The portion was HUGE and I could barely finish it! It fit the bill after a long day of hiking though!
