We both ordered the pasta carne with dirty pork and a red sauce. Tagliatelle was the pasta of the day, not sure if that changes or not. We also ordered house wine, red for me and white for the lovely K. The 1/8 litre 4 1/4 ounces for 3.5 euros wasn't expensive, but it also wasn't enough. You can order more (1/4 litre is 6 euros) which we would next time. The food came out hot and quickly and very nicely covered in Parmigiana Reggiano and was a good sized portion for 13.5 euros. I saw lots of ppl carrying out and dining in. For dinner, my husband and I split a large margherita pizza and an insalata jolly (house salad, I think). The salad here is amazing and very large! It was huge, had delicious chunks of cheese and the balsamic dressing was spot on. And I'm not normally a fan of olives but the olives in the salad were full of pungent olive flavor, without being too salty. Salad was fantastic and I was digging it. Unfortunately, the pizza was not as good. The crust was perfect, slightly charred, thin and crunchy. What was bad was that the margherita pizza had way too much tomato sauce (which was too salty) and the fresh mozzarella cheese was wet. It was clearly put on the pizza after it was already finished in the oven. In fact the mozzarella cheese was so wet that it even slid off our slices of pizza. Also word to the wise, the large pizza is really large for two people esp after the big salad. No worries, we took it home and ate leftovers for breakfast the next day =)
