Joking aside, this place was really delicious and a nice change of pace from Polish cuisine. It's pretty different actually, with a level of spice that isn't explosive or anything but still can have significantly more heat than you're likely to find in the local food. Super gracious hosts and a great vegetarian selection too!

Happy to have found excellent reviews for this place while we were in Gdansk…read more They advertise Napoletana (Naples) style pizza and as someone who had been to Italy and love that style of pizza, I can say they meet expectations. My husband and I shared a margherita pizza as we wanted to save room for dessert. We shared a large bottle of sparkling water and each got a cannolo. The cannoli were delicious. Our meal cost 106 zloty which is about $29. Not bad at all considering it's in the waterfront. Our server was friendly and accommodating (I forgive him for forgetting our dessert order - he was attending to many guests). The restaurant is a bit cramped but is decorated nicely. Food rating: 5 stars, service and ambiance: 4

There are usually several options and the meals are generally inexpensive. As it has been chilly, I've been craving soup. The lady taking the order thankfully speaks English so I didn't have to embarrass myself with my limited Polish knowledge, phew! She told me what she had for soup and I selected beef stroganoff. She asked if I wanted bread with it which I declined. I wanted to try their pork cutlet which I obliged to have with mashed potatoes. The soup, the pork dish and water amounted to less than $15 which is certainly less expensive than most cities in the US. The soup and dish were both delicious. Just couldn't give them 5 stars as I felt the pork would have been much better if it was hot and crunchy(it was just warm). The soup could have also been hotter. I think they don't wipe the tables as often as they should either. This milk bar is nicely decorated though. Considering it is very close to the city center, it is undoubtedly great value for money. Oh, btw, they have an English menu but I didn't see it until before I left
