Classic very tastefully done with beautiful table settings and tablecloths ironed (witnessed by me). I had zurek to start. It's definitely big enough to make a meal of it, presented in a large bread bowl. Best zurek I've had in Poland - hands down. Next was halibut and sturgeon with rosemary and mustard sauce with a lovely salad and potatoes. So many amazing flavours. A lot of food but hard to stop yourself when you get full. I would definitely recommend this lovely restaurant to anyone coming to Gdansk. Staff, service and food are all bound to leave you wanting to come back very soon.

It was a beautiful sunny day and they have tables along the outside of the glass patio or just inside the glass patio, so we could slide the glass door open and have some fresh air and take in the sun and views of the riverwalk, which was perfect. The staff was very friendly and spoke english well. She took very good care of us and the wait was not long at all for the food. For Poland, this was the best steak meal we have had since being in the States. I had the Ribeye, a friend had the Tomahawk, and another had another cut. All plates of meat were cooked to perfection! Medium rare cooking is hard to find in Poland but these guys nailed it! I was just disappointed that they had run out of truffle potato puree!! I had to settle with corn on the cob and rice. Boohoo. Haha. The menu is accessible by QR code, and its bright and clear with lots of pictures, which I enjoy. The ONLY negative I have is that the bathroom is a single stall, its dark and hard to see the signs on the door of which bathroom to use, so I ended up walking in on a man using the "ladies" bathroom because the door had NO lock. And then while I was in there, someone else walked in on me. Again, no DOOR lock. It was completely missing and when I used it after the guy, I had to clean the toilet because he had pee'd all over it. So, if bathrooms are an issue for you, choose another location. Otherwise, I would sit and enjoy the flavorful meal. 4 stars instead of 5 because its easy to fix the door. :)

I know I learned to never judge a book by its cover and I should've listened. This place is great and the whole experience was very memorable. I ordered the Chicken Noodle Soup and Pork Chop and a whisky on ice for while I wait. The atmosphere is really cozy (it was raining so I dined inside) and the upbeat but melodic playlist really set the mood to unwind and enjoy the drink and their delicious dishes. First up was the Chicken Soup. Perfect subtly savory broth with the right portions of chunks of chicken to the noodles. Was so pleasant and warm to eat on this rainy evening. The main dish was the pork chop with the seasoned potatoes and a side if sliced cucumbers in tzatziki. The pork chop was very tender and the breading wasnt over the top. The sides of potatoes were also seasoned well and very soft. And finally, the sides of cucumbers in tzatziki and dill were also very good. If I wasn't so full I was contemplating on getting an order of pierogis just to try it but couldn't fathom another bite if anything. The waiter I had was very attentive and friendly and even engaged in nice conversation. My stay here the next day also rained so unfortunately I couldn't dine outside. But, if I ever find myself in Gdansk again, I have some unfinished business with the pierogis and patio dining :)
